Disappointed after Harrah's Stay

We had stayed at Harrah's, Laughlin and always had a positive experience. Therefore, we anticipated the same at the Vegas location. We will not be returning to that Hotel. First of all, the check-in time is very inconvenient, at 4:00 in the afternoon. If guests wanted to check in earlier, they hotel charges $30.00. The check-in agent at desk was unfriendly and not welcoming at all. The bathtub faucet leaked. The towels were wafer thin and worn, bath towel even had a hole The hotel did not have enough of a variety of eateries in which to choose. There is no non-smoking section in casino..

Sickening

First off I enjoyed gambling at Harrahs, planet hollywood etc. 75% of my time there was doing so. I was definitely not informed that i had to you use my total rewards card to cash out. I just used my card to join in. Nevertheless that wasn't much of an issue. The Harrahs las vegas rooms I had were horrible. The first two days i was at 1753 if i remember correctly, and the shower was extremely dirty especially the shower head. I noticed it when I realized i was getting sick out of nowhere. I'm not sure if it was an allergic reaction or what but that clearly was the problem and if I show you the pictures that I took with my camera, you like most people I showed it to would throw up. I was able to get a switch to 2437 which had an awesome view and was much cleaner. But when I went to take a shower the 4th day in 2437, it wasn't even hot or near warm. I slowly got better though, which i was thankful for that second cleaner room. I could at least enjoy my last day there without feeling too bad. The customer service was fine. I'm looking to come back yearly or more, but as for Harrah's I dont know, that shower head was just that disgusting as well as other parts to the bathroom, and I hope i didn't get anything from it future-wise. Thanks for the great plane tickets and delta was very good to me, But that hotel room ruined most of my trip and what I had planned to do for the most part of the trip.

Has a great time!

The hotel was perfectly located in the centre of the strip. The facilties were great and we enjoyed the pool area for a few days.Breakfast buffet was amazing, the starbucks were good too. The only down side was that we were disturbed by the noise from the Carnival bar late into the night & early hours.

A Must Stay

We stayed at Harrah's for my first time in Vegas and I loved every minute of it! It was a smaller casino which is nice that you don't have to walk 30 minutes to get from one side to another. Very friendly staff and inviting gaming atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Meh

The room itself was average, nothing great, nothing horrible. The view from the windows was of an outside wall and duct work about ten feet away but I suppose everyone can't have a fantastic view. The biggest problem we had was that neither the phone nor the AC units were working properly. No working AC in Vegas is a problem. We had to use our cell phones to call friends staying on a different floor and have them put in a service request for us. Maintenance showed up about an hour later, put in a code, and said he couldn't fix the phone. Did I mention the friends we had staying in the same hotel experienced those same problems in their rooms as well? Hmm. Other than that, meh.

Pass on the souvenir shops in the hotels and along the busy part of the strip. Walk down to the shops across from NYNY and get decent stuff for a quarter of the price and pick up a $1 beer while you're there.
