Good, but not the best

Booked Hard Rock for two nights because of a great price. Compared to some of the other hotels I normally stay at (Palazzo, Wynn, etc.), hard Rock just didn't seem to quite measure up. It just seems like there isn't much at this hotel. The room was nice, but it was smaller than what I am accustomed to. I will say the bed is really comfortable, though. I didn't really have any special needs, but all of the hotel staff I interacted with were very nice. On its own, Hard Rock is good. But compared to some of the other hotels in Vegas, it leaves something to be desired.

cool...but a bit scummy

This hotel is not nearly as nice as other Hard Rock hotels I have stayed at- it is definitely showing it's age. It does have character, neat rock and roll memorabilia, and some great concerts however. If you are a music lover and enjoy the feeling of "being at a concert", then this is not a bad choice. However, the facilities feel a little old and worn out, the location is too remote from the Strip. If you stay here, do yourself a favor and rent a cheap car. Cabbies are expensive here. Watch for ridiculous "resort fee" of $25 per day.

Wish I choose another Hotel.

Arrived early. Did a pre-check in. Staff said they would notifty when room was ready. Never did. Some of the staff were awesome. Some acted like they did not want to be there. The bathrooms need to be done over. No ventilation in bathroom. tp kept coming off the holder. Shuttle needs to run longer only 10 am - 5 pm. Also, the driver held out tip jar.

Aged rocker

We've stayed here a number of times over the years. When it was newer, it was very nice. Room rates are much cheaper now, and this seems to reflect the slightly lower class of hotel that they've become with age. When we checked in, the staff was more interested in making sure we had our "backstage passes" (their gambling card) and neglected to give us our room keys. Th rooms are ok. The bed is very comfortable. The restroom was very dark and depressing. One of the bulbs was burnt out so we replaced it with one from the main room. Closet is a bit small for 2 people. The restaurant options are still pretty good. Theres a little something for everyone and every budget.

First timer

The hotel was recommended by a friend. Though it was a nice hotel, it was just too far from the strip to get a real feel of Las Vegas. For a first time, I would rather spend some extra money to be at a strip hotel and get a feel of the glitz of Las Vegas.

Great ambiance room needed some elbow grease

Staff, restaurants and casino were tip top. My room needed a deep clean. I stared at a used Qtip that wasn't mine on the floor of the bathroom for three days, hoping the next room service would find it, but didn't. Found a pair of broken sunglasses (not mine) on the floor one night because I stepped on them next to bed. A lot of blonde long hairs in the room, again not belonging to me. And it was overall kind of stanky. The hallways & elevator lobbies looked like they never get vacuumed. Time for some spring cleaning. Otherwise the 40 some odd crew they had maintaining the pool area and the rest of the staff were laid back and welcoming. I would go again if I knew I had a good maid.

Family spring break

Kids loved the music memorabilias. Kids 16-18 yrs old. Nice hotel. Didn't expect extra daily resort fees and again extra fee for a cot on top of room price. Also had to call twice in the week for extra towels since they would only give us 2 bath sets. Wifi extremely slow at times. Ice machine broken entire week. Beds and linen soft and comfortable, great restaurants moderately priced. Pools very nice. Some outdoor patios to eat. Wish there were more.

I expected more from a Hard Rock Hotel!

The room it self if beautiful, very nice decor but when I got to my room and was about to use the restroom, there was urine on the toilet seat AND genital hair! Super gross!!!!! The customer service needs serious attention, it was not their priority for me to have a sanitary room! Well think THREE times before I stay here again!
