Hark Rock Hotel
Lots of fun and younger crowd. As you would expect, music they have playing 24/7 is great. I was there before the pool opened, but have heard this was a great part of this hotel as well. Did not like that when I checked in, they dinged me for an additional $300.00 to use against any potential charges I make while there (meals, room bar, etc.). I was using a debit card and they take the money out of my account and say they will reimburse in a few days after I check out. Do not like this way of doing things. Also, had two charges to room bar that I did not use, but unfortunately that is typical of hotels - esp. in Vegas.

Bath tub was moldy, room had a bowling alley over it, very noisy, should never have paid full price on that room. Music in Lucky's is way too loud. If I would have paid full price and not gotten a deal through [...], would have been very unhappy.

Ok I suppose
I have stayed in Vegas literally hundreds of times as flight crew. As a result I have stayed at many different hotels. On this occasion it was a business related trip paid for by me. Hence value for money rose significantly as a criteria for my rating. The hotel itself was quite nice. Typical Vegas casino room. Nothing special but nothing bad either. The hotel is off-strip and it really annoyed me that they cancelled the shuttle service AFTER I had booked the room. They had the nerve to continue to charge an extra $8 per day for, yes you guessed it, Free Shuttle Service, Valet Parking (we had no vehicle), and Free Parking (we had no vehicle). When I pointed this out, the receptionist told me that he could not remove the charge. that was it. He said that it was also for the Bell service.....what!

this is for music lovers.it plays loud everywhere, we loved it. in Paradise Tower-beds comfy, soft linens and lots of feather pillows.overall staff quite nice. Disappointed that despite calling within 2 weeks before trip, told pool was open, but on arrival, the entire area was closed for maintenance getting ready for the "Rehab". took a lot of complaining with the desk clerk before finding an alternative. got approval to go across the street, better than nothing. well, the weather wasn't that good feb 25-27, but then really nice day on last day 28th. strip hotel pools were open.

A fun place with all of the amenities
We arrived there late on Saturday night but the hotel was overbooked. They remedied the situation by paying for one night at a smaller but decent hotel across the street. They also credited us for our payment for Saturday night. The hotel is mainly for a younger, hipper crowd as there is rock music playing all of the time. This was okay with us because it made for a more vibrant and less stuffy atmosphere. The restaurants were very good and there is something for everyone: a first class steakhouse, 24/7 diner, Italian, sushi (Nobu), a great Mexican taco place and of course, the Hard Rock Cafe. It was too cold at this time of year for the pool (late February) but when the weather gets warmer it's the place to be for partying like a rock star! The room was clean and comfortable and was serviced properly. All in all, if you enjoy the 'rock' concept and want a cool place to stay it's a great value for the money.

Nascar Weekend Getaway
I enjoyed my stay but too expensive in many ways. Such as not having the option of a water glass in the bathroom. I understand the point is to make money but things like the water can make one choose not to come back again. The valet were very efficient and quick. Enjoyed the memorabilia. Since I came for the Nascar race I was very happy that there were drivers there for autograph sessions.
