Cleanliness Issue
First of all I requested a king, non-smoking room. I booked my room several months in advance. At check-in we were told there were no king rooms and we were put in a double-queen, smoking room. The room was disgusting. Not just the smell, there was a thick layer of dust on everything in the room. Directly across the hall from our room there was vomit on the wall and floor in the hallway. This was about 4pm in the afternoon. The next morning the vomit was still there. We called the front desk and reported it. The next day, over 24 hours after reporting it, the vomit was still there. We were later moved to the room type we requested. The king, non-smoking room smelled much better but there was still a thick layer of dust everywhere. Also, in our new room, the bathroom sink was stained. I quickly found out why. It was partially clogged and drained very slowly so it could not be cleaned effectively. The restaurants in this hotel ranged from awful to excellent. Pink Taco is horrible. Their chips and salsa are good and their beer prices are good for Vegas. That's all I can say positive about this restaurant. My wife ordered their fish tacos. The menu says they would be grilled. The fish was actually deep-fried. Their was so much batter on the fish that it was hard to tell if there was any fish in there. Nobu however, is the best japanese restaurant I've ever been to period. Nobu must be managed by a whole different team than the rest of the hotel. It was a first-rate dining experience. The best sushi in vegas.

Nice hotel, bad location
The beds are especially comfortable but it was too far from the strip so the money saved was spent on taxis (hint, the hotel should provide shuttles). Next time I will stay somewhere closer to the strip.

Had a great time & really enjoyed this hotel. It was too far off the strip for our liking but glad to have experienced it. The Pink Taco restaurant was really yummy & their staff was always friendly & attentive. Would go back just to eat there.

Sleepless in Seattle!!!
I like staying at the Hard Rock. The only drawback I ever consider with staying there is the location off of The Strip. This and the frequent long taxicab lines. I would think this process could be streamlined. Otherwise, everything else in Top Notch! Great staff, nice rooms, good restaurants, great pools, and great vibe! Good concerts, great place to gamble, and beautiful people everywhere! Love The Hard Rock!!!

Hard Rock MDW
Check in at hotel wasnt too bad, went pretty smooth. No complaints there! Sunday is the BIG pool party at the hotel which was a HUGE mess if you ask me. MDW weekend isn't the usual but they knew it was goin to be insane and were poorly prepared. It took FOREVER to do anything and that is huge mood killer when you just wanna have a good time. That process needs to revamped completely, but this was my only problem. Everything was good..hotel vibe was good with lots to do so overall I really enjoyed my stay. The pool party ordeal was a big turn off bc that was a big reason I stayed at hard rock to begin with. I would stay again if that means anything overall good experience minus one bad.

Mini Vacation for Couple
Traveling from the reception area to the room tower was very inconvenient. When asking the check in lady how to get to our room, she just said follow the signs - so not very helpful. I would of liked to see a more helpful staff while checking in. I can say that the pool staff is great and they really made our experience memorable. It would be best if the hotel offered trips to/from the strip after 5pm.
