Poor Customer Service
I had a question and wanted to reach the front desk for room info(we had to use express check in because of a very long line), tried to call from our hotel room and waited for 30min without response..called 3 times and still had to wait for more than 20min. It was really disappointing because i never had anybody answer my calls. It was not a good experience for us especially since this is our first time at Flamingo hotel.

Had a great experience. We will stay at the Flamingo again.
We were very happy with our stay at the Flamingo. The only negative thing was finding the parking structure and main entrance. There was a lot of construction going on at there main entrance off of Las Vegas Blvd. we had to call twice to get directions to how to get to their entrance. The first time the receptionist told us to turn down the wrong street. The remodeled entrance is going to be very nice when its completed. We were finally able to find it and after that everything was perfect. We checked in early and because we had booked something called a "Go Room" we were able to upgrade to a Belagio fountain view room for only $20. The rooms were very clean and remodeled. The location was perfect. The restaurant Matgaritaville was in the casino. The food was OK but their margarita was great and it was a very kid friendly place to eat.

Short walk from hotel
If you are traveling with kids this is great hotel. The flamingo habitat in the hotel is free and fun to visit. Within walking distance are lots of other free things to do. We saw the volcano show at mirage, fountains at Belagio, the Grand Canal at the Venetian, and Forum Shops at Cesar's Palace. Also a great value is the buffet at the Belagio. Kids 3 and over are supposed to pay, our daughter is 4 and we just had her sit in a stroller while we paid and they never questioned us. For $70 we all had amazing food like king cram legs and tiger prawns.

Great Location, and Pool; Average Hotel
This is an average sized hotel and casino without much shopping or big attractions. Great location right in the center of the strip. Has a lively adults only pool with the hotel's staple flamingo theme throughout the large outdoor area. The basic rooms are nothing special, but an upgrade to one of their better rooms with a strip view is a much better stay. The hotel service was sub-par at best. Spent 50 minutes in line to get the rooms, and the line to check-in was out the door the entire stay, with 3-4 people behind the service desk at all times. With the final price of the hotel, flight, and room upgrades, I would recommend staying at a nicer hotel, unless you're booking based only on location and a pool.

Good value
I booked this hotel for me & my two kids (7&4) for a quick spring break getaway. I choae thia hotel because of the pools (waterfalls, caves, waterslides). Upon arriving we were met with a HUGE check in line. I was very happy & grateful when one of the staff pulled us out of line and let us check in VIP because i had kids (single mom bonus!). They were kind to give us a room close to the elevators with a view of the pools. The room was fine, clean & what i expected. My only complaint was no fridge & the bathroom was so small you had to squeeze to the side of the toilet to close the door. My biggest complaint was that they had changed the pools (all the good ones) to adult only. The only kids pool was a super small one that just had flamingos spraying water. boo.

Wonderful time
First, let me say we loved the hotel... but.... what we didn't expect upon arrival was for the airport shuttle bus to drop us off on the street BEHIND the hotel, all due to construction. Yes it is a necceary evil, but that first impression set the mood for the day after a long flight from the East Coast, I did not expect to have to walk that far to check in. Upon check-in we asked for the "Go" room upgrade, which was available, and was fantastic!!! We had a room on the 25th floor with a view of the pool area. Overall, we were very pleased with the Flamingo and would have no hesitation to book a room there again.

Worst place I've ever stayed in Vegas
My husband & I took my brother & sister in-law for their first trip to Vegas in Feb. I picked this hotel because of the location on the strip even though we had never stayed here before. What an embarrassing mistake! I don't know where to start. The rooms had no coffee pots, they had vinyl floors in the rooms, no carpet. The bathrooms were very outdated with short counters and old grout in the tub. They turn off the hot water at 10pm & don't turn it back on until 6am. And worst of all, the carpeting in all the hallways is rippled with the seams taped with silver duct tape! So, the only reason I gave 1 star is due to the location. Just an all around terrible place to stay.
