Hamada of Japan
For nearly a decade, Hamada of Japan has been a Las Vegas favorite for those seeking an authentic Japanese dining experience.
Carlos'n Charlie's
Carlos'n Charlie's is where you can go to get loose, get loud and get some potentially valuable photos of your friends doing the same thing. Sure, we have some amazing food and the best drinks in town. But let's face it, we're really all about fun. So if you can't have fun, you can't have dessert, and you don't want to miss what we can do with a can of whipped cream! Feel free at Carlos'n Charlie's.
Sin City Brewing Company
Especially on a hot summer's day, there's nothing quite like a hand-crafted, microbrewed beer. That's exactly what you'll find at Sin City Brewing Company's second location, at the fabulous Flamingo.
Paradise Garden Buffet
Watch the playful antics of live penguins and flamingos while enjoying a fresh feast at the Paradise Garden Buffet. Enjoy a scrumptious salad and fresh fruit bar along with mounds of shrimp on ice, Alaskan crab legs and seafood salads.
Pink Bean
Serving freshly brewed gourmet coffee, espresso and cappuccino, Java Coast also offers sandwiches, desserts and Nathan's Famous hot dogs (southwest casino location only). Both locales offer indoor and patio seating.
Lounges
Even Bugsy Siegel liked to take a break from the action from time to time - and the bars of the Flamingo proudly honor this tradition. From a laid-back lounge that looks out to our Wildlife Habitat to a bar where gamers gather in the middle of the blazing casino floor, the Flamingo Las Vegas is packed with refreshing options.
Tropical Breeze Cafe
This 24-hour casual dining restaurant overlooks the beautiful Flamingo Wildlife Habitat. Cuisine is traditional American fare with an extensive array of appetizers, pastas, soups, salads and home-style entrees. Enjoy a fresh breakfast or stop in for an afternoon snack.
Margaritaville
"Margaritaville is as much a state of mind as it is a place." The multi-level Caribbean-themed entertainment venue offers two outdoor patios overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, a nautical-themed restaurant, five distinctive bars, live entertainment nightly (both indoors and outdoors) and a 3,000 square-foot retail store. The menu reflects the flavors of Jimmy Buffett's island travels.
Beach Club Bar & Grill
During the summer months, guests can grab a light snack or relaxing lunch at the Flamingo Beach Club Cafe, with a front-row seat on the sparkling blue waters of the Upper Pool.
Center Cut Steakhouse
The menu features steakhouse favorites such as the 20 ounce rib eye and the 24 ounce porterhouse, made with all natural premium beef sourced from Aspen Ridge Farms in Colorado. The beef is provided by cows that are born and raised solely in the United States and are 100 percent hormone and steroid-free. In addition to mouth-watering steaks, the menu offers a wide variety of seafood dishes and other exquisitely prepared entrees such as the ultimate steakhouse Kobe burger and rack of lamb. Rounding out the menu is an assortment of delicious salads, sides and desserts.

Next time I'll just spend the extra money on a better hotel

I stayed at the Flamingo a few years ago, but I would have never went back a second time if I knew that they did not keep up the rooms. The first room that they gave me (had to do a total of three room changes before getting a decent room) was absolutely horrible! It smelled and look old I was probably given this room due to a late check-in but there was no excuse, it was like a truckers motel room. The furniture was old and I wasn't going near that bedspread. The next one was not much better but we had to stay there the night until something decent opened up the following day. Never again will I stay here I'll just pay the extra 150 bucks or so for a better place!!! I will stop by the Flamingo since it's on the strip and have a wonderful Buffett, the gaming and the garden where you'll find beautiful fish, flamingos, swans and other interesting creatures.

Location isn't everything

The Flamingo may be centrally located, but that's about it for this property. The casino stinks, really it smells. My room was not renovated, therefore it had peeling paint, stained wallpaper, mold in the tub, an AC unit that roared and grinds all night, and a view of the parking garage. As far as cleanliness, as I mentioned, mold in the bathroom, hair in the tub, hair on the floor, dirty carpet that was not only stained, but not simply vacuumed. I wore my flip flops around the room and bathroom it was so gross. I found a little white pill under my bed and coins, hummmm. The pool was so packed you couldn't get a chair, a very young rowdy crowd was there on the weekends probably because it was cheap. There were not great choices of food in this hotel, nor shopping. If you absolutely have to stay at this hotel, pay for an upgraded room, the go room and play at another hotel. Otherwise, stay someplace else.

Avoid At All Costs

Flamingo Las Vegas is more of an urban blighted pidgeon than lovely tropical bird. Wallpaper peeling from the walls. Nicotine infused furnishings, despite the non-smoking designation. Thin hard mattresses. Bathrooms reminiscent of those you find in gas stations along the interstate. No wonder Las Vegas has a reputation for being R I P O F F C I T Y . The whole situation go from BAD to WORST experience I've ever had as a traveler...in or outside of this country. MAYBE if I'm stranded in the desert with no food, no water, and nowhere else to turn will I give the Flamingo my business again.

Longest Check In

We arrived at 6pm to find a check in line that was over an hour long. We returned at 10pm to find the same situation. Finally we checked in after midnight, still waited in a fairly long line. We were given a suite upgrade, but it hardly made up for the 6 hours we were without a place to be. I would never go back.

Nasty and disgusting

The Flmingo id very dirty! DO NOT STAY HERE!! When we got to our room there was standing water in the tub, it was filthy dirty! 2nd day we were walking down the hall and heard singning coming from one of the rooms, when we looked inside the maid was singing in the mirror COMBING HER HAIR WITH A TOOTHBRUSH!! NASTY!! When we mentioned this to the staff their only reply was " Oh gross, we're sorry about that." The only good thing about this place was the pool, that was it!! I will never stay there again! If you choose to stay hide your toothbrush!!

Bed Bugs

Flamingo Hotel - Las Vagas After checking in I went to my room to find a blower drying the wet carpet. Asked for a new room which upon entering the door had a broken hinge. The next day I had bug bites all over my feet, ankles and legs. It is now a week since I left that room and I'm still itching like crazy. I also wasted 5 hours of my vacation talking to hotel people and at a nearby clinic.

My review of Flamingo Las Vegas

Check is was horrible. After two delay in flight we arrived at 11 pm. Was up graded to executive floor but said it wouldnt be ready for half hour. Came back 1 hour later and still not ready. another 1 and a half hour later (1:30am) we were able to got our room. The doors of the bathroom hadnt been cleaned for a long time, the carpets were stained. the two lights outside in the hall were out, it was so dark you could hardly find the slot for you key. I let them know it was not very clean and the lights were out in the hall. They would get the lights fixed, but three days later when we departed they were still out. The woodwork in the hall looked like it had not been cleaned for ages. We have no desire to stay at this hotel again.. The plus was the food was good, and the staff was polite.

Poor room quality

The Flamingo hotel rooms are in great need of remodeling. I do understand that they are remodeling several floors at a time. I can totally understand why they are remodeling. Another couple that we were with demanded one of the newer rooms. The GO-GO rooms were gorgeous, but they had to tolerate construction between the hours of 9-5. The rooms had outdated furniture and the shower, well lets just say it left a lot to be desired. The best thing that I can say about the Flamingo is the location, in the middle of the strip.

Dirty Hotel Rooms

Checked in at around 11:00 pm...was sent to a room with stains all over the carpet and the chair in the sitting area was dirty. Also, it was a room for the handicapped...everything was low to the ground. The view was of a roof top and air conditioning units. Very disappointed....My niece came to visit us and immediately went down to the front desk to have us moved to another room once she saw the room we were given. We were moved up a floor but the view was exactly the same. Carpet was cleaner...but the rooms were dark.
