The Flamingo Las Vegas has become part of the landscape here, with its neon Art Deco features decorating Las Vegas Boulevard since 1946. Hugely famous for its longstanding headline act, Donny & Marie Osmond, you can also test your fortune inside two gambling arenas – the main 77,000 square foot casino and the smaller Margaritaville Casino, designed with island decadence in mind. Combined, there are more than 1,600 slot machines and a wide range of table games, so there are plenty of chances to strike it rich. Whether you win or lose, tuck into food from around the world at the Flamingo, from sushi at the Hamada of Japan to traditional American dishes at Steakhouse 46.

Dining

Paradise Garden Buffet
Watch the playful antics of live penguins and flamingos while enjoying a fresh feast at the Paradise Garden Buffet. Enjoy a scrumptious salad and fresh fruit bar along with mounds of shrimp on ice, Alaskan crab legs and seafood salads.
Pink Bean
Serving freshly brewed gourmet coffee, espresso and cappuccino, Java Coast also offers sandwiches, desserts and Nathan's Famous hot dogs (southwest casino location only). Both locales offer indoor and patio seating.
Lounges
Even Bugsy Siegel liked to take a break from the action from time to time - and the bars of the Flamingo proudly honor this tradition. From a laid-back lounge that looks out to our Wildlife Habitat to a bar where gamers gather in the middle of the blazing casino floor, the Flamingo Las Vegas is packed with refreshing options.
Tropical Breeze Cafe
This 24-hour casual dining restaurant overlooks the beautiful Flamingo Wildlife Habitat. Cuisine is traditional American fare with an extensive array of appetizers, pastas, soups, salads and home-style entrees. Enjoy a fresh breakfast or stop in for an afternoon snack.
Margaritaville
"Margaritaville is as much a state of mind as it is a place." The multi-level Caribbean-themed entertainment venue offers two outdoor patios overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, a nautical-themed restaurant, five distinctive bars, live entertainment nightly (both indoors and outdoors) and a 3,000 square-foot retail store. The menu reflects the flavors of Jimmy Buffett's island travels.
Beach Club Bar & Grill
During the summer months, guests can grab a light snack or relaxing lunch at the Flamingo Beach Club Cafe, with a front-row seat on the sparkling blue waters of the Upper Pool.
Center Cut Steakhouse
The menu features steakhouse favorites such as the 20 ounce rib eye and the 24 ounce porterhouse, made with all natural premium beef sourced from Aspen Ridge Farms in Colorado. The beef is provided by cows that are born and raised solely in the United States and are 100 percent hormone and steroid-free. In addition to mouth-watering steaks, the menu offers a wide variety of seafood dishes and other exquisitely prepared entrees such as the ultimate steakhouse Kobe burger and rack of lamb. Rounding out the menu is an assortment of delicious salads, sides and desserts.
Hamada of Japan
For nearly a decade, Hamada of Japan has been a Las Vegas favorite for those seeking an authentic Japanese dining experience.
Carlos'n Charlie's
Carlos'n Charlie's is where you can go to get loose, get loud and get some potentially valuable photos of your friends doing the same thing. Sure, we have some amazing food and the best drinks in town. But let's face it, we're really all about fun. So if you can't have fun, you can't have dessert, and you don't want to miss what we can do with a can of whipped cream! Feel free at Carlos'n Charlie's.
Sin City Brewing Company
Especially on a hot summer's day, there's nothing quite like a hand-crafted, microbrewed beer. That's exactly what you'll find at Sin City Brewing Company's second location, at the fabulous Flamingo.

Front and Center

I've stayed in a lot of different hotels in Vegas and for most part, I havent been dissappointed. The Flamingo is in a great location- center of the strip. I would stay there again.

Bathroom desperate for upgrade

Great bed, nice bamboo floor, great view, poor lighting and an old bathroom with leaky faucet. Concierge excellent, and nice garden for morning coffee.

Average hotel at awesome location

You have to pay for almost everything, Internet was not free. I had to pay resort fee even though pool was closed. There were very few shops inside the hotel and club inside the hotel looked cheap. Room was huge and clean. But had no class. I would recommend this hotel for location as it's in middle of strip.

Great Stay

Room was spacious, beautiful and clean. The only thing that would have been nice would be a coffee pot. I like to have coffee right away in the morning but do not want to pay $4 or more for it in the lobby. I dont want to go to the lobby when I wake up....I also was disappointed that the pool was closed. It was a beautiful day and I wanted to lay by the pool and this was not an option. A couple of days into my stay I found out I could have used Planet Hollywoods pool for free with my room card.

An all-around great value

I was much happier with this hotel after I had stayed there than I was when I first arrived--I arrived at 11:30 PM at night only to have to wait in line for 2 hours and 43 minutes to just check-in. It was ridiculous to be honest; they said they were short-staffed. Once we got to our rooms it was well past 2 AM and the food court inside the hotel had already closed. We ventured out to a Walgreens for snacks. Overall, the sleeping area of the room was very nice and renovated. Linens were changed daily and always fresh. However, the bathroom was NOT renovated and looked like something out of the 1970s! It was clean, but old and "gunky" looking. Also, the carpet in the hotel (the rooms are faux wood flooring) was moist and had come unglued. It was raised up and very hard to wheel a suitcase on. The pool here at the Flamingo was nice and very fun--just be sure you get there before 9:30 AM if you'd like a chaise lounge or deck space for a towel. There are several places to eat inside the hotel that have wonderful food. I ate at a breakfast restaurant that had the best caramel banana French toast in the world!!! Furthermore, this is very close to the shopping district near the LINQ (ferris wheel). There is also a Starbucks right outside the Flamingo, which was very convenient for me. There are also several restaurants, bars, and an organic juice bar just steps away from the Flamingo's entrance that are shielded from the Strip. I recommend the juice bar for right after the pool! If you are looking for a luxurious stay, this hotel is not it. Do not be fooled by the excellent photography you see on their website because it really looks nothing like it--not even the pink lighting is real. If you are looking for a hotel with upscale amenities for a girls' weekend out, this is not the hotel for you either. However, if you are looking for an EXCELLENT value that is close to everything...and don't mind gross hallway carpeting, slow check-in/out, or an outdated bathroom, this IS the hotel for you, especially if you don't plan on staying in the room much. Our value was incredible. In fact, 7 of my friends have stayed at the Flamingo since my stay based on the value and proximity I experienced. My only real problem is that I believed what I saw on the website and was promised a room with a Strip view (which I did not get). I am used to staying at the Trump and Mandalay Bay which are much more elegant.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a Mexican restaurant called El Chayo right outside the hotel that is AMAZING. Mexican food is my favorite cuisine and this was superb. They also have tequila shot flights in the evening for great prices with nice atmosphere. Squeeze at the LINQ is the organic juice bar right near El Chayo outside the Flamingo. Fairly priced and tastes amazing. Great for recovering from a day at the pool, the sniffles from a flight, or a rough night on the Strip! Highly recommended!

Relaxing getaway

I like this time of year in Vegas...it's their off season and much easier to check in and enjoy the city. Arrived on Sunday and was able to check in immediately and get a great upgrade. The gal that checked me in was fun and had a great attitude. Went to Tags Sports Bar next door to catch the NFL early games. Had a blast! Stayed on the 28th floor and had a fabulous view! For the price, room, and location, was a super value.

Horrible getaway!!

I stayed at the flamingo for my birthday. The first night I got there it was cold and the heat was not working. I slept in my clothes.. The next morning I woke up still no heat. I contacted the front desk to find out if someone could check the heat. They told me someone would be up to check it. Nobody never showed up.. It was so cold in my room I started catching a cold. I called the front desk again after waiting 6 hours for someone to Check the heat. They told me they would change my room and that was great. By the time I got to the new room. My cold had worsened and for my 3 day vacation I had to stay in bed taking nyquil.
