Never again
Right from the time I went to the check in counter till the time I checked out, the experience was nothing but pathetic. The staff across the hotel, from check in help to the cocktail waitresses, etc. are just so rude and arrogant all the time. They make you seem like you are doing them a favor by staying there. They charge you for everything that you request as a courtesy. I had a room booked that was not facing the strip and when I checked in, I requested if they could give me a room that was facing the strip and the check in lady wanted me to pay $10 for that. I asked if I could request a early check in and she charged me $20 for that, I requested a late check out and she charged me $25 for that. I asked the room to be cleaned after the 1st night and the room service people left our used glasses from the previous night there itself and just made the bed and cleaned the bathroom. The shower in the bathroom was fixated at a very odd angle and it was super inconvenient to take a shower. There was no coffee pot or a fridge in the room, which are basic amenities provided by smaller hotels. The AC thermostat panel stopped showing the display on the 2nd night so we had to guess what temperature we were putting the air conditioning at and if we felt hot we had to get up in the middle of the night to lower it or increase it if we felt too cold. Also the dealers at the casino tables seemed like they wanted to just get their job done and would not smile or engage into a conversation with you. Some of them were rushing us into our bets and playing the game versus being nice and helping out a few newbies at games like blackjack, etc. There was an exception however, Fred, who was one of the dealers was the most helpful and happy seeming out of all of them! Goooo Fred! It is interesting because right when we were at the line to check in, I heard a couple of people say that their experience was horrible and that they would never stay at this hotel again. I laughed it off thinking that they were drunk and so were just saying anything but just a few minutes after hearing that, I experienced the pathetic hospitality myself and thought that those people were right and I decided right then that this hotel - never again!

The too tried traveler
No knight and shinning armor here
It was terrible the agent that check me was great even gave me a room upgrade but it was more like a downgrade.Our room had a funny smell,the sheets had stains on them and the walls and doors had marks and cracks on them.Still the wrost part was strong ordor of heavy drugs near our room it was terrible.Our son has alleriges and we all getting sick, secuirty did nothing they did offer us a room change but it was to late our son was sick.He spent most of the time in the room i wish we never went.

horrible booking
my experience at the Excalibur withwas just a unsatisfactory mess. i would never go or stay at the Excalibur because they couldn't find my reservation i had to book a room on the spot i had to pay extra money and then i had hotel security in my room saying the one day that was showing in their system that i had reserved wasnt showing i had to make numerous calls i had to prove i had payed... it was just a huge mess it ruined my trip. im disgusted.

Last time at Excalibur
I booked into this Hotel as I had stayed there previously, wish I hadn't bothered. Despite requesting non-smoking rooms and this being granted, we were put on a smoking floor. The room was very dated and seriously in need of updating. Sink in room kept backing up every time room above used their sink. They had workman take a look but still had the problem. Maid service was awful. Didn't make the beds on the first day, didn't clean second day and didn't hoover room all week. They charge extortionate room fees but only give one days worth of drinks/discount vouchers instead of each day that the fees have been paid. As Hotel is in the cheaper range it now attracts the less desirable crowd, smelt of cannabis in most of the hotel. Buffet food was very overpriced, served luke warm at best, with a limited range of poor quality food. Shops onsite ridiculous prices, over $5 for 1.5l water. Would not recommend this hotel or stay here again
