Never again
This hotel is very tired and needs a spruce up. The air conditioning in the rooms are very very noisy and old. The staff are average, and the time share people drive you crazy whenever you come into the hotel or go past them. Cheap tickets advertise a $15 per night resort fee but that does not include tax and it is more than you budget for, supervisor on duty was hopeless and was not interested in adjusting the price. We got a great price for this hotel but I would never stay there again or recommend it.The $20 food and beverage could only be used in the bars.

Great 2 Night Getaway
My daughter (1st time in Vegas) and I spent two nights here. After visiting several of the other hotel/casinos in the immediate area we decided we were happy we chose the Excalibur. It was a great value considering the rate we paid compared to the rates at the other hotels and the amenities it has to offer. We took the offer to upgrade to a room with a view and looked out at New York New York which was great. The room was quite adequate, although the beds could have been a bit more comfortable, with a bathroom that had a large shower and lavatory. A variety of restaurants, a food court and one of only a few buffets in the area, added to the appeal. Also a good variety of slot machines, if that's your game, to keep you entertained. I would recommend this property for anyone wanting decent accommodations, not luxury, but with good amenities for a reasonable rate.

Room was ok but the up grade was not worth it. The view was a small window of the roller coaster and busy street below, all night you heard the traffic and motorcycles racing by. over all the hotel was very old feeling even though updated renos had been done. Location of this hotel was to far from the main strip and after a long hot day of walking a cab was needed.

Pretty decent for a good price always
Overall, Excalibur was a pretty good experience, nothing high-end, not too fancy, but connected to its partner the Luxor. Has all the amenities you could want, more family friendly and definitely not over-the-top swanky.

Good value for money
Among the hotels along the Strip road, Excalibur is one of the cheapest ones. It's also located in the south area which is quite near to the airport. I stayed for 3 nights. It has restaurants and food courts that's open for 24 hours, which is quite helpful.
