Boasting sweeping views of the Roman Plaza and the Las Vegas Strip, the restaurant is balanced by an enclosed patio located off the main dining room and a Champagne and wine bar that is anchored by a comforting fireplace.

The sublime culinary experiences are right at home in recreations of the original Rao's: brick walls, dark oak wood floors, and tin ceilings echo the design of its namesake, in multiple intimate settings. Two small "Rao's Rooms" - just 10 tables each - flank the bar and central space, while the "Feast Room" seats 70 at family-style tables amid the twinkle of Christmas lights. "The Park" is a 50-seat lounge that conjures an al-fresco-like atmosphere and features a replica of Rao's famous street corner faade. A poolside outdoor terrace offers seating for 62 near a bocce ball court. Open for dinner daily. All major credit cards are accepted. For reservations, call (702) 731-RAOS.

Palace Tower needs tome TLC
Room was ok, nothing fabulous. Could use some updating and maintenance in rooms and halls, starting to show their age. Good location, had a great view of the pool area and looking over at Rio. For the same price, Aria, Cosmopolitan is where I would stay next time for sure. Staff was pleasant, check in was fast and easy. Easy access to go almost anywhere.

Overpriced and overrated
Caesar's used to be our favorite place in Vegas, with its kitschy retro charm and over-the-top touches (like Roman column shampoo bottles). Now it's just tawdry and a bit rundown. Despite many uniformed people milling around, it's understaffed--with unconscionably long check-in/check-out lines and cocktail hostesses in the casino who never come back. There's no attention paid to hotel guests (unless, maybe, you belong to one of their 5 or so levels of membership, which we don't)--except for adding extra charges, of course. If you're going to break the bank anyway, you might as well spring for Bellagio...and if you want better treatment, try Paris Las Vegas.

Loved it!
Had so much fun at Caesars Palace. Laid by the pool for three days was heaven. Drinks by pool spendy and could not check in before 3pm without a $50 fee, but they hold bags at the bell desk so no problem waiting. Glad I was dressed for Vegas sun already!

Not worth the $$$$!
My wife and I stayed at Caesar's Palace once before. We got a real cheap $59 promo deal on the cheapest rooms. It was outdated and pretty grungy. But we liked the fancy lobby, pools and location, so we decided to try a more upscale room (Palace Tower) this time. But it was a TERRIBLE disappointment! As soon as we got off the elevator we were met with stained, ripped carpets held in place with DUCT TAPE! The room was no better. It WAS larger than the cheap rooms, but dirty, dusty, banged up and just plain unpleasant. The rug was old and torn. There was little furniture or decor, only one tiny stained couch, a small chair and a tiny cheap glass table that looked like patio furniture. There was a desk that looked like a 10 year old purchase from Target. The big windows facing the pool were filthy, covered in mud. If I didn't know better I would have thought I was in a Motel 6 in Newark! It was downright depressing. Aside from the the room, we both felt as if the place was just trying to squeeze every penny from us. They charged a $35 early check-in fee even though a room was ready ( and I am a Total Rewards member). To make this worse, as soon as we checked in we noticed a faucet dripping and left the room anyway until the repairs were made. Also, our phone to call the front desk and or room service did not work. There was a coffee maker, but no coffee, sugar etc provided. We were even told by the front desk not to put anything in the fridge as the "sensors" might charge us for disturbing the honor-bar items! Again, these are things I would not have expected from a classy place like Caesar's. Another disappointment to us was the once impressive pool area. Since our last visit, they put up another tower of rooms, making the pool area MUCH smaller. The jacuzzi pool and much of the seating area is gone. The place now seems crowded, and ordinary. And guests are charged $25+ extra per night (resort fee) if they use it or not. It really ticked us off when we saw two people who weren't guests pay only $10 to get in! Our conclusion is that Caesar's Palace is no longer the place to stay in Vegas. The property IS nice, the fountains, sculptures, cool mall etc. But anyone can come enjoy these without having to pay big money to stay in a lousy room. Vegas is full of great places to stay, most for far less than Caesar's Palace. My wife and I thought we would always stay at Caesar's when we came to Vegas. But after this visit we decided we are better off trying other properties.

Staff issues
The hotel was great and our room was perfect. Everything was brand new and stylish. The location of hotel is great and we found a great deal in terms of price. However, when we arrived we couldn't check in until 6 pm because there were no clean rooms available. So we were told to leave our bags and go kill some time. The receptionist was supposed to call me in 20 minutes or so to let me know that our room was ready. I didn't get a call for an hour and a half and then we walked to the reception to find out that our room had been ready for an hour. They told us to go up to our room and they will be sending our luggages but it took them almost two hours to locate our luggages and eventually sent them to our room.

Business Trip
Meetings I attended were in Caesars Palace. It was purely business. Meetings started at 7am and ran until 7pm so no time for relaxing. I stayed at the Paris with you before and it really was just as good as Caesars except that I wanted to be in Caesars for location of meetings.
