Shopping trip

I love this motel! I love the fact that it has a small kitchenette that allows me to cook my food. I have multiple food allergies and eating out is difficult, therefore when I visit Santa Fe Suites I know that I will be taken care of. I love the location at Zia and St. Frances! It can't get much better than that!

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

St. Francis street will get you to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and the Railyards. Zia becomes Rodeo and or Zafarano which will get you to Cerillo's where you can find the mall, the movie theatre and multiple stores and restaurants.

Nice room but the carpet was nasty.

Good location and a great price for Santa Fe. Had a small kitchenette with an apartment sized refrigerator. And some dishes, silverware, and pans with a 2 burner stove top and a small coffee maker with coffee. Pretty comfortable bed and water pressure was good with plenty of hot water. What gives it 2 stars instead of 4 was the carpet. Definitely the grimiest carpet I have ever seen in a motel. The sort of thing that's way beyond cleaning. Other than that a good deal.

Better than some...

I have stayed here before. The kitchenette is what sells the place for me. There is a major supermarket, a sandwich shop, and a restaurant adjacent to the hotel.

Excellent Stay

Superior location; just off St. Francis, but very quiet and at a sort of dead end. Clean and comfortable, although certainly not upper-end. Breakfast is rather Spartan, but adequate-----after all, it's not a restaurant. Superb value.

Nice place for saving money

It is a well equipped kitchen with pot, stove, plates, microwave oven, forks & knives. There is supermarket just 3 mins walk. There are fast food places in 3 mins walk. It is very easy for travelers. The bed is not very clean but livable. The bathroom is very small for big size people.

Great value!

I had everything I needed with the kitchenette in the room. The only problem was the stove top didn't work, so I used the microwave. Otherwise, the people were nice and the continental breakfast every morning was included.
