Nice stop over

The weather was great. Right time of year if you P don't like crowds. Rooms were not prepared with toilet paper or right amount of towels but otherwise the stay was great

Santa Fe weekend

I needed a place that was affordable, pet friendly, clean, and where I would feel safe. All that was provided and as a bonus it was a suite, with a full well stocked kitchen. Nothing was fancy, but I didn't visit Santa Fe to stay all day in a hotel. Location was great, just outside the busier districts, and there was a quiet mall next door with anything you may need. By the way, Santa Fe is an amazing city to visit! So very old world and artsy. I can't wait to go back and I definitely will be staying at the Santa Fe Suites.

the whole city of Santa Fe is an attraction. Also, the city is in the mountains, lots of beautiful mountain hiking trails and vistas on the outskirts of town.

business trip

Location very convenient w grocery, restaurants, Officemax, Pakmail right there. I had to work on an online project and was able to complete the work in comfort. Kitchenette. Linens sparse and worn, bring your own. Great for an Economy stay. Some rooms are quite nice and safe, others not so much.

excellent

VERY quiet like I like. 49/night can't be beat. Lousy breakfast but rooms have their own kitchen so no problem if staying more than a couple days.

Renovations, STAT!

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the hotel and we're surprised by the overall conditions of the rooms. The linens were old, the sheets weren't large enough for the beds, and there was water damage next to the tub. The breakfast was very simple-- packaged oatmeal, coffee, toast-- and the small kitchen in the room was of questionable cleanliness. The beds were soft enough, but the overall experience left us wanting more.

book only if desperate!

Breakfast was a joke. Cereal and toaster eggos. The room could use a good cleaning. Carpet was thin and stained. We found pills and trash under the bed. The bathroom had hair on the counter and tub. I could feel the coils from the mattress while lying down. The sheets are old and ragged. So glad we were just passing through.

The honest truth...

Just returned from 3 days in Santa Fe yesterday. The Santa Fe suites appears to be what once was an apartment complex. We rented an "single suite" for 4 days. The room was once an efficiency apartment. One room with a queen bed, tiny sofa, table for two, small kitchen, and tiny bathroom. The entire room had a great need for updating. Worn toilet seat, crooked cabinet doors, big clunker TV, old carpet, etc. My worst complaint was that the promised WIFI access was not working. Since my wife and I had internet work to do, we ended up leaving a day early for the long drive back to Texas. When I informed the hotel staff of our need to leave early, they tried to offer us a larger suite adjacent to the WIFI router... But it was too late by that time. The staff's reaction to accommodate us is the reason for their 5-star rating. Basically it is a nice place for an economical stay. If you need a bit of luxury, better look elsewhere.

Dining tip: In Hotel

The free breakfast offered is the bare minimum type buffet. Way too crowded in too small of an area. Bring your own stuff for breakfast.

Perfect Location

Overall perfect for what I was looking for. No hidden fees, easy peezee. Rooms cleaned daily in a timely fashion. Great value for the money. Easy access to Old Town Santa Fe and to all major roadways. My only concern was directions off I-25. Should have simply said exit to St Francis, swing around the loop, look for Plaza Entrada on the right. Turn in second right at light go all the way back. Santa Fe Suites behind Albertsons. Anything else is confusing and misleading.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Find the parking garage at 201 Marcy St. The statue of Leroy Petry (medal of honor soldier) is great landmark to come back to when you explore Old Town !
