Garden-like setting

Really pretty grounds and paths. This is set up more as an apartment/condo complex than a motel - and its consequently got a homey vibe. The room was small but the designer maximized space so that a kitchen and living area fit into the space with fairly good flow and room. Great value, pretty, quiet, and just off the highway -- :)

Best for longer stays

Room was decent. Full size refrigerator and 2 burner stove. Good for folks that want to cook. Not real close to plaza.

Easy off freeway

We find it conveniently located and reasonably priced (usually) and have stayed there a few times a year. Prices quoted doubled when we tried to reserve for following Friday night on our return trip. Chose to stay in Las Vegas NM instead. Clean but needs better maintenance. Lights were too dim to read by and the desk had no replacement bulbs that were stronger. We went to grocery next door and supplied our own for our time there. Bathroom lamp fell off wall and we had to unplug microwave to " reboot" it.

Long Weekend in Santa Fe

Motel was way further South of downtown than expected. Also had to go thru shopping mall to get to it and sign on marque was with old name of motel. Wifi did not work for our room location and although they had location in lobby to use computer, that did not work for watching Netflix. The hair dryer did not work and there was no pot holders or paper towels for the kitchenette. The bed was comfortable and everything else worked, but probably will not go back to this motel.

Price was very good. Night watchman doesn't answer phone and is rude when he has to answer questions. his "be back in five minutes" sign is more like a half hour

Low cost comfort in a high cost town.

Most hotels in this area are high priced because of the city's draw for tourists with deep pockets. This one is a bargain price, but has everything you could want except a swimming pool. We had a large suite on the second floor with a nice view. Separate buildings and clustering only a few doorways at the top of each stairway allows for more privacy (and quiet than you would get with many hotels. We were there to relax, visit museums & spas, and basically get away from the worries of home, which was right down the road. We couldn't afford an expensive vacation, but this allowed us to eat great food every meal. Sometimes we cooked in the kitchenette. There is an excellent Japanese sushi place within the shopping center with the hotel, along with a full grocery store. The hotel is the first thing you see when you come into town tired, or the last thing you see on the edge of town when you hear that the interstate is closed, which is how we discovered this place last winter. Other guests we saw were quiet and well-behaved; many groups of students were supervised. I can't imagine staying anywhere else -- well, maybe if I wanted to swim.
