Good bargain

Everyone was so friendly, and we met so many nice people at breakfast. The location was perfect for us - close to the interstate and a 5 minute drive from Old Town. The price made this a great deal!

basic hotel in Albuquerque

Seemed fine, but the room that was supposed to be smoke-free stank of cigarettes and made for a difficult night's sleep. TV was supposedly cable but reception was terrible. Free breakfast was awful but it was free.

overall a good motel, a good value, and a good location

The toilet ran if you did not jiggle the handle, and the sheets had holes in them, the carpet looked dirty but it didn't feel dirty. overall a decent stay.

Pig sty

This is a very outdated, poorly maintained hotel. Not even an ice machine that works, though they failed to tell us this. It s dark, dreary, dirty and the workers were sloppy in appearance. We walked into he lobby at 12:30 a.m. And I asked why the doors aren't locked and the clerk said we have security on the weekend! We failed to find them. Our room was awful. Horrible bed, pillows. The towels are dingy yellowed and so thin they should be rags. The railing on the balcony is very loose, and they have a huge desk in front of the patio doors to it. The AC was so loud it was horrible. This is a horrible, horrible, hotel. And looks nothing like the photo above. They do offer a shuttle and the vehicle was filthy and had many broken things, too. I hope ---- will remove this hotel from their sight as I wouldn't want anyone to have this bad experience!

Kind staff and an amazing Photographer!

I have no issues with the staff that I met. The two I dealt with (the desk attendant and the shuttle driver) were kind and as helpful as I have them opportunity to be. They get 3 stars, and whoever their photographer was gets 5! I could use that person as my wedding photographer, as I'd come out looking like Fabio when I'm more of a Flabio. Other than these two, this place is atrocious. 2007 re-modeling? Was that on the Chinese calendar? Lights were out, towels were scratchy, the pillows were pancakes (I layered all 5 on my bed to get to one normal pillow). The grouting and wallpaper looked like it had been done by child laborers. The noise from outside, with the windows closed, kept me up for hours. The space in a single king was cramped, as I couldn't easily walk between the bed and TV. The microwave and fridge were from a 1987 remodel MAYBE. There were smudges on the mirrors of questionable bodily origin, and at least one hair of inner pants decent. The hotel was nestled comfortably between a highway and some auto dealers. if you seek booze, prepare for an epic journey if you are on foot, as its at least 2 miles to the town center. All in all, I fell for the impressive photo, and I'm not the only one, it seems. You pay for what you get, but, in this case, I think $20 per night was for the photographer. Oh, and if that person's reading this, I'm serious about the wedding photos.

Please purchase new towels

The location was great, the view was good, the room's overall cleanliness was good. It's an old hotel and could use some more sprucing up. Elevators are not very inviting. The towels were the roughest and dingiest towels I've ever seen. None of them match and the only color they had in common was that they were very, very dingy. If I had stayed longer, I really would have purchased my own towels. Overall the stay was ok, as I only slept & showered there. I'll probably won't ever go back or recommend, unless last resort.....2.5 out of 5.

3 STAR NOT

I reserved a room with a view and a King size bed. Turns out they don't have rooms with king size beds with a view. The mattress pad was a queen size on a king bed, so the bed was short padded. The veluxe blanket had 30 cigarette burn holes and the towels were tiny worn out rags.
