Family Getaway!

We wanted to getaway for a couple of days and thought this would be the perfect hotel. It was a nice hotel but on cleanliness I have to give it a fail. It's like the vacuum didn't work. Hallways and rooms looked like the carpets needed to be shampooed and vacuumed in the corners, curtains were dusty. I think this hotel needs a overall good cleaning. Also, seemed like that had a real shortage on towels. We asked for towels more than once. Housekeeping didn't even give us fresh hand towels or washcloth on our second night. It was a nice hotel but I don't think I will stay again. I will try somewhere else. Oh yeah and the staff. When we asked for something they were average. The price we paid was very good. I overpaid for what we got.

anniversary

our reservation took about 2 hours to show up into there system after we arrived. So, while we waiting the 2 hrs we went to ITZ which was right down the street. We finally checked in and rested. Dinner was also down the street. Later, we called for a cab to go out, but ended up waiting hrs at the hotel bar for the cab to never show up. But the hotel bar was still a good time. The problem came after we checked out. We were charged $50 for accidentals and then another $100 because of a smoking fee. Thing is neither of us smoke. It was the housekeeper who didn't properly clean the patio before us and blamed us for the cig buds. Thank goodness we noticed the charges right away to dispute them. After a couple hours the hotel manager was able to review the pictures and speak with housekeeping and come to the conclusion that they were old and we got reimbursed after a few days. My advice to others, check the room completely and let the manager know if there is anything wrong with the room so you don't get charged.

Cockroachs in bathroom, no A/C, no pool

There were cockroaches in the bathroom, the A/C was not working and the pool was closed. When I spoke to the front desk. The person said, "Well that is too bad and disappeared into the back room." The art was neat. The rooms were ordinary. Wouldn't stay there again.

Beautiful Place

The Southwest decor in this hotel was very beautiful and the location was excellent. Easy access to the freeways and restaurants. They do have a bar/restaurant where you can purchase meals. The price we paid was great. Pool/work-out room/hot tub available. Front desk staff very nice.

Great Atmosphere and Decor

Our experience at this hotel was fairly ordinary. No major problems and nothing particularly exceptional about the rooms or service. It was clean, the people were friendly and everything went well. What really sets this hotel apart however is the fantastic decor. If you are at all interested in Native American culture or art you should really check this place out.

Great value

I was more than satisfied with the hotel. I've stayed here three times previously, and this was by far the best experience. Our room was upgraded to an extended room which had a lot more space and a couple of accent chairs, all for no additional charge. The only negative was the moths in our room, but given the time of the year, moths are prominent around the area. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Excellent getaway

We arrived at the hotel around 10 PM. The staff was prompt and courteous. We had two rooms and it was no problem to upgrade one room to a king bed with no additional charge. The rooms were clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. One complaint is no Microwave or mini Fridge in the rooms. The restaurant in the hotel was very good as well. Our server was friendly, polite and very descriptive when we asked about menu choices. The other complaint was that the hot tub did not have working jets however after complaining the assist manager called us after we checked out and were already on our way back home to explain that because of new codes by the city they had to turn the hot tub into a whirlpool. She apologized and offered us a discount if we wanted to come back and stay with them again. I was impressed by the excellent customer service. My daughters, my husband and myself were dazzled with the remarkably clean rooms. We would stay here again.

Hot room, party hotel

Room was hot, cooler kept going off and on at the wrong temperature. Party going on all night. Loud and when I called the front desk there was no answer. No towels in pool area. Opened the door to vomit and beer bottles down the hallway. Not a family hotel.

Unique American Indian Decor

This unique hotel has interesting American Indian decor, very comfortable beds, courteous staff, and a wonderful view of the Sandia Mountains. It's located just off Interstate 25 about 15 minutes north of the airport. I also had an excellent breakfast with my young grandson in the cafe. The server couldn't have been more pleasant and the food was very good.
