Pet-friendly budget rooms a short walk to the New York City bus
One of the closest hotels to the Meadowlands Sports Complex, home to the New York Giants, New York Jets and the IZOD Center, Red Roof Inn Meadowlands is also just a minute from the Meadowlands Exposition Center. Enjoy complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby and free wireless Internet throughout the hotel. A couple blocks away, the NJ Transit bus to takes riders to midtown Manhattan. The hotel sits on the Hackensack River and offers a riverside picnic area with barbeque grills, a boat marina and ramp (fees apply).

Easy access NYC
Not shabby but not a main destination hotel. Its clean but not super clean. Has a few fast food places near-by within walking distance.

Room better than expected
Room was updated, bathroom a little dirty, the outside was a little shady. Most affordable place in the area. It was fine for a quick overnight.

the staff was kind of rude and nit helpfull , the machunes [vendinf machines ] didnt work ,asked for toweles didnt have any and it was around 9 am ,,but the hotel was neare by the tunnel to manhatten

I should have slept in my car
My stay at this Red Roof was very poor. I was repeatedly woken up by housekeeping. The manager wanted to refund me my money, but was not able to because I made my plans through.

Bad from start to finish
The room had no towels or soap. House keeping knocked three times and woke up us each time. Hotel maintenance asked to come in an hour before our check out time to replace the air conditioner. The place was a dump and it was a terrible experience.

Great location, Right off exit. Convenient to Met Life stadium. Nice neighborhood, fast food nearby, Room clean upon arrival, but wasn't cleaned while we were there (2 days) although fresh towels were offered the 2nd day. Pricey for what we got as a room. Paid for location, I guess

DONT USE RED ROOF
NO HEAT
THE DESK GIRL WAS SLOW AND SURLY THE ROOM HAD NO HEAT WHEN I FELT THE RADIATOR TO SEE IF IT WAS WORKING I FOUND A CRACK PIPE THEY DID GIVE ME ANOTHER ROOM BUT EVEN THAT TOOK WAY TO MUCH TIME.

Needs some work
Walked into room took shoes off walked on floor it was soaking wet. Beds were not made when I walked in. Toilet handle was broken looked inside bowl was held together by 2 paper clips.
