Board the bus out front and it’s just three miles to New York City

The hotel was clean. The staff was helpful. The indoor pool/spa was amazing. The location was good, but it was confusing to get to the hotel. Overall it was a very nice hotel.

Great Hotel
This hotel was fantastic. We travel all over the country and rate this one very high. The rooms were large and very comfortable. The staff was incredibly helpful. We have now deemed it our New York office for all travel to the area. Very easy to get the bus into the city. Difficult to find but it's hard to find anything in the area. No roads go straight to anything.

Not easy to get to if you don't have a car. They say it's about a ten minute walk, which isn't too bad.

nice hotel
The kids loved the swimming pool. After swimming, we ordered pizza and watched a movie. We had a nice time.

Good location for the price
We have grandchildren in Hoboken,NJ and have always stayed at another hotel. We were very pleased with the cleaniness of the hotel and the ammenities. It was fun for the grandchildren to go swimming in the indoor pool.

We really enjoy the Coach House Diner on Patterson Plank Blvd. They have excellent breakfast, and homemade cakes. We preferred this over the buffet in the hotel, which cost about $12/person, but kids under 12 eat free with an adult purchase.

The put me in a smoking room. I did not think hotel reservations defaulted to a smoking room but aparently they do. the front desk manager was relauctant to switch my rooms. He found a non smoking and placed me in that ( I would have canceled if he could not get me in one). I thought the room had a High Def TV but it was an old model TV. I did not really care about that but I still thought to mention it. The continental breakfast was not included. I could have stayed down the street at La Quinta Inn and had a cheaper but just as nice room along with free breakfast. I had to pay 8.50 for some cereal and a waffle (at la Quinta eggs come with breakfast.. here it was a 3$ upcharge). I did not know the price or that I had to pay for breakfast until I overheard the waitress tell other guests about the costs. I would not stay at this hotel again. I expected more from Hilton.

Hilton Garden Inn - Secaucus, NJ
Overall the hotel was very good and the staff helpful. The one bad thing is that the hotel address listed DOES NOT WORK in a GPS or in Mapquest. It took us an additional 30 minutes to get to the parking lot. We had to call the hotel front desk and then use the address for a nearby Home Depot to get close and then follow oral directions into the hotel - be careful!!!

Good Location & Price, But Confusing
Housekeeping knocked and entered room twice in the am while we were still sleeping almost trying to kick us out. Also check-in was very rude. Confusing because they tell you there is a "shuttle" however it is the NJ transit which costs 3.20 a person one way. Also they explain to you in a brochure when you get to the hotel what stop you are suppose to ask for to get dropped off by the bus to get to the hotel if you arrive in the city. However, clearly this does not help and the NJ transit is not helpful at all either. You are suppose to request to get off at the best buy in secaucus walk to the home depot and it is right behind it. (BTW none of this explained by driver or hotel.) However we went to dinner at the Chart House and I have to say it made up for everything else that had occured in the evening dealing with the hotel. Sites in NY are clearly amazing as well coming from someone that has never been to the city.

Chart House very romantic setting, service was outstanding would recommend for any man trying to impress a woman. Done Deal! Would say it is better than most places in Manhattan amazing views and skyline at night.

The hotel was right off the freeway, so the location wasn't that great, but the bus stops right in front of the hotel to go to nyc, so that made up for it. Nice hotel with large rooms.
