Embassy Suites Secaucus - Meadowlands

It was a good value but free internet is something that everyone should receive that stay with WIFI in their room.

Average Room. I had read a review before booking, about the sofa sleeper having a smell; and low and behold, I encountered the same thing. Furniture was not sturdy; should be in a doll house, The Hotel was too far away from all things NY

Staff was friendly ffom the front desk to housekeeping. My only problem was the changed light bulb flickered. My son thought it was kool though and wanted to find out how he could make it happen in his room on base.

The hotel is very conveniently located to New York City, NY. The GreyLine bus tour picks you up at the hotel and transports you to NYC at 8am and back to the hotel in the evening at 5 pm. The public transportation bus is located nearby for those who want to stay later in NYC. The made to order breakfast is excellent. Disappointed in the evening reception compared to other Embassy Suites we have stayed at. There was a one complimentary drink limit and the snacks very limited. The neighborhood seemed safe and there were multiple eating establishments within walking distance. There is also a Walmart and Sam's Club within walking distance. Each room has a microwave and refrigerator so we shopped at Walmart and helped keep our food costs down. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel provides free internet access and a daily weekday newspaper is at your door each am. The hotel is located within 20 miles of Newark Airport. Unfortunately there are no shuttle services offered. Overall an excellent experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great to stay; convenient to NYC easy access w bus; close shopping and restaurants

The hotel was clean. The staff was very helpful. Great location, shopping, nice restaurants, and a movie theater all within walking distance. There is even a Walmart just across the street. The FREE complimentary breakfast was awesome! Will definitely stay here again when I come back to Jersey.

Easy acess to the city via the n.j. Transit. Bus stops right across the street and takes you to the port authority. Great acess to Times Square and the sightseeing tours.

I don't feel like this was a four star hotel based on the dingy in room furniture, and it did not have that four star clean feeling. Nothing major but there was a hair in the tub, and there were stains under the sink. Staff was excellent. Bus to NYC super convienent. Restaurant definately not four star. Breakfast was nice but ended very early. It is a great place to stay if you have kids. Lots of space. Lobby atrium is nice

Easy access to NYC; helpful staff.

When we first arrive to the hotel it was a quick check in. We asked the guy in the front desk about tranportation informantion to NYC... and he said "I'm not sure" but then he looked up information on his computer. Would have been better if he just told us he would check instead of saying he didnt know. The bus (NJ Transit) is right across the street, which was sooooo convienent! it was $3.75 per trip/per person. So it was pretty cheap esp. that it only took 10-15mins to get dropped off in Port Autority (NYC) so the hotel and bus is a great location. But the front desk guy seemed new. we got into our room, everything was very clean. Esp the next day, when the maids came to clean it, it was extremely neat and organized. I would have to say better than some of the big hotel's in Las Vegas. Overall the hotel was great and peaceful, but the service at the front desk had side conversations of thier personsal life, and did not seem professional. I loved the free breakfast, they have someone that cooks omelet and pancakes in an open kitchen. It was really good! I really liked this hotel, when I come back to NY or NJ I might stay here again!
