Perfect place to spend Christmas..
Warm, welcoming staff gave me newly-renovated room with the most comfortable king bed I have ever slept in..Even the shop has great stuff if you need a last-minute gift or two. Have stayed here for several years, so it feels like home even if you are away for the holidays

Beautiful interiors
Staff courteous and helpful. The lobby, restaurant and pool area of the hotel are awesome. Rooms are quite ordinary though and seem a bit overpriced compared to other equally good hotels in the area.

Needs Freshening Up
Staff reported that this Hyatt is on the verge of a major renovation. Ice machine was broken the entire weekend; walls very thin so I heard a party next door until 1 AM; carpet wrinkled and spotty. Extremely convenient location; food excellent; excellent shower.

Great place to stay if you are visiting the University
We spent just one night at the hotel before a visit to the University campus.. After a long and tough drive to the area, we arrived to find a boisterous prom underway on the main floor. we asked for a quiet room and the staff was most accommodating. Once we were in our room, we were able to get to sleep without any noise. the next morning, we ate breakfast at the buffet in the hotel. It was a bit pricey, but the staff was wonderful --- gracious and funny -- and the made to order omelet was delicious.

Frustrating check-in
Arrived at the hotel and checked in to be told that the key-system was "down" and that I would need to be escorted to my room and a key provided at a later time. I patiently waited to be escorted to my room until nearly 20 minutes had elapsed at which point I asked again to be taken to my room. The desk clerk (in training per his name tag) then asked me what my room number was and insisted he had given me this information. He hadn't, but regardless, he was the one who checked me in! I would have assumed he would have that information! We were then led a merry chase around the hotel as he was unsure where to find the room. We entered the room to find it was already occupied (!) and were promptly taken to another room. After going out for the evening and returning, we stopped at the front desk to retrieve keys and were told that they "had been slipped under the door" - the clerk could not understand why we didn't have them....!! Bed was average, decor a bit tired looking, bathroom non-descript. Overall, not really up to this chain's usual standards. Not impressed for the price.

A great deal in the off-season!
really nice hotel in a good location. This place is a true bargain during the non-peak times of the year. The location is perfect for getting into Princeton or to the train station for a side trip to New York City. The rooms are nice, and the hotel has a gorgeous atrium and nice pool.

Princeton Stay 10-22-10
Room was very large, and clean. Front desk staff were very nice and very professional. The location was very convenient to Route 1 and Princeton U. The room did not have enough towels though, and the rate included breakfast for two, but the breakfast was cold and... Blah. Not sure if I'd stay here next time, unless rate was about $ 30 lower.
