Wyndham Garden Hotel Newark Airport

The location of this hotel is quite near the Newark Airport. The price is acceptable. The room is clean, but no refrigerator and micro wave oven makes it not convenient enough. The staff at the frontdesk and shuttle is very helpful. The gift shop guy is very friendly. The service is good, but the facilities are not that convenient. Thus if I take biz travel, I won't chose this hotel.

The reason for my stay at this hotel was to be able to get to EWR for an early flight with out having to get up killer early. For this purpose the hotel fulfilled my needs. Bar and restaurant was all that I needed.

The Wyndham Garden fit my needs perfectly for a one night stay before an early flight out of Newark. Check in and out was easy and friendly. Hotel is much closer to airport entrance than rental-car return is from the entrance once inside the airport. Room was quiet, but if white noise needed, the AC can can be set to run continuously. Alarm clock worked; didn't need any other amenities on this trip! Massive highway convergence can make it a little hard to find in the tangle, and google maps is unable to resolve the address, so they could use to have some detailed direction hints on their website. Coming from the north (Rt. 78 or Pulaski Skyway), follow and stay on US 1 & 9 South. Go towards signs for US 22 west, but don't take the actual US22 ramp, stay on US 1, and hotel is very soon on the right.

The hotel was great. It was very convienent and the people there at the hotel was very helpful. They helped me with transportation and directions as well. I highly recomend this hotel to anyone going to the Newark New Jersy area.

If the hotel knows that a customer is driving (I asked for and received a parking permit), the customer should be given handwritten instructions on how to get to the hotel since it is off the beaten path. I became very familiar with the airport when trying to return to the hotel.

Not worth the $132.00. Old hotel, location hard to find, parking is extremely tight. Thankful I was only there for one night. When we checked in it was like we were bothering them, doors open in the hallways showing staff sitting around. Just not a good hotel and would not recommend it. I would have preferred to pay a higher price and be in a better hotel.

This hotel, while unprepossessing on the outside, is actually quite nice inside. The best thing is the location -- convenient to every major highway in the NY/NJ area.

In from Florida for three nights for a party in Jersey and a road trip to Long Island. Very friendly check in. Coffee bar and small store in lobby as well as a place to eat all three meals. Clean comfortable room and gated free parking. Quiet. My only problem was finding the entrance to the place. Can be very tricky even with a GPS. but 5 minutes to Newark airport was a big plus. Its located for travel to anywhere but the area is still as dense with traffic and confusion as I remember it when I lived there. Would stay there again if I needed to go back to the area.

I was going there for a calm getaway. But instead my girl friend get itchy while sleeping in bed of room 209, the heater was soooooo loud and after it shuts of i hear a ticking sound. i went to the front desk and aksed them to change the room and the whole floor smells real bad I just had the worst three days experience. I had already booked the three nights but I wish I didn't. I know not too book with them ever.

My experience was good and a good place to stay. The room is nice and clean and the stuff make you feel comfortable.
