A Delightful Experience

This hotel was clean and very well maintained. Our room was as described on the website. It was really like a small apartment because the bedroom and livingroom are separate. We would happily stay in another hotel by this company.

Amazing for the Price

For such a reasonable price, my stay at the Doubletree was perfect. Everyone there was very welcoming, the room was much more than i expected and very clean. I would definatly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to or near the area, and I will definatly be staying here when i come to visit the area again.

Could have not been better

The staff are all wonderful, they great you with a smile and help you with anything you ask for. Romms re really clean, and the beds are the best I have ever slept on. Room service personnel are kind and polite, and are easy to talk to. They have a gret knowledge of the city, and can tell you anything you need to know, even where the best steak and cheese place is. I will be returning there anytime I am in the area.

Not worth the money - list of problems

I've stayed at local hotels dozens of times, and have never written a hotel review before. I've stayed at the Doubletree at least 8 times with somewhat mixed results before now. I have become sorely turned off lately by the way I'm treated there now. They used to do free breakfast, now it costs around $15. When I asked for breakfast coupons I was told they can't give them out, but the next day I saw the receptionist hand four of them to another guest. The hottub was actually colder than the pool, I was put in a smoking room after confirming that I had a non-smoking, and now all of my travel gear smells highly offensive. The side doors were locked so during the night I had to walk around the building to enter at the front (where there is no adequate parking). The internet is priced by the night, and I actually paid less at high end hotels in Hawaii than this "3 star" in New Jersey. Shower wouldn't work, remote missing for TV, hotel feels like a mile away parking, pool boy glares at his watch and counts down the seconds until the magic 10pm shutdown. There are many newer and better hotels in the area. Definitely at 3 stars they are a full star over-rated and $50 a night over-priced. I will not stay with them again, and recommend the many travelers from my company stay elsewhere as well. Room is average, food is very costly, staff is snobby and will not offer solutions. Sorry to be so negative, but I could not have been more unhappy with my recent trip.

Your GPS will find many very nice places within only a few miles. Food at Doubletree is okay, but not nearly worth the money.
