Good hotel, Awful parking situation
We enjoyed our stay at the Westin, Jersey City, but we had a difficult time with the parking situation. I had 3 rooms with 10 people for one night. With a total of 6 cars in the parking lot. The hotel says that it has onsite parking, but that's not exactly true. Parking is across the street and upstairs... not connected to the hotel. You have to walk outside and across the street to get to the hotel from the parking garage, which is difficult with bags and luggage. Also, the parking attendant was rude and not helpful when I told her that the machine to pay for my parking was BROKEN. With 6 cars, all at $22 each, I thought I deserved at least a little courtesy and respect from the parking attendant. All in all, the hotel is very nice, but the Double Tree or the Marriott down the road both have better parking situations that would have made my entire stay much easier, more convenient, and worthy of its price.

Fantastic!
I spent months at the Westin Jersey City while working on a project. The hotel is modern and spotless, and the staff is top notch. there are cheaper hotels, but none nicer. Highly recommended!

Weekend Get-Away to NYC & Jersey City
Hotel is located accross the street from the Path Train (Newport) which is perfect for getting to NYC. Very nice hotel with clean room and good restaurant (Fire & Oak). Parking is located right behind the hotel, but is $22 per night. Seems like for $250 a night it should be free for guests. Good bars and restaurants within walking distance in Jersey City. Only bad thing about hotel is they allow pets. Dog barked when owners left their room (early am) and worry about potential feas. Other than that hotel was good.

Don't get rental car at Newark airport if only going to NYC or staying in Jersey City. Take cab and then use Path Train or Light Rail to get around.

Excellent Stay at the Westin in Jersey City
After a long day, the comfort and service of the Westin in Jersey City was outstanding. I will be coming back in a few weeks for my second week of a three assignment. I look forward to the same level of comfort and service.

Great location
Typical experience for this type of hotel. Clean, well maintained, great location. Only complaint is that you have to pay for WiFi in the rooms which is ridiculous in today's climate. Also, for families you should note that there is no fridge, although one can be rented for $25 per stay.

Convenient location for NYC visit
Sparse amenities, internet charge PER DEVICE used, walking distance to PATH station. Can save on parking if you park in the mall and walk.
