an early week escape
My boyfriend and I decided to get away for the night just to enjoy a little together time. They had a really good deal on the room so we booked it. The staff at the showboat were great. Their friendly demeanor made the experience wonderful. There was one cocktail waitress who really stood out. Nancy was beyond great. Her friendly attitude and outgoing personality really made the night memorable. I will definitely be returning to the showboat. Maybe next time I'll win :-)

Get away
Upon arrivial we were greeted with valet parking. Gentelmen were most graious. The check in staff was very professional and the process was streamlined.The room was clean and very comfortable. Rate was fantastic. I would love to be able to stay at this hotel on my next visit with a like rate.

won't go again
1st - i over spent 20 bucks to book the same room type on orbitxz than on hotel website. i asked for refund or cancellation at orbitxz, they refused. so next time i would just book room directly from hotels. 2nd - hotel holds 144 bucks on my credit card, but my room was only $58, i was told they only hold 41 (this price is w/o tax and hotel charges), instead, they put a temp authorization hold of $144 on my credit card. why? 3rd - they place me on the back of the hallway, THE LAST ROOM of the floor (the farest from elevator), it literally took me 2 minutes just to walk to and from my room to the elevator, which probably hasn't been much people slept there! becoz i can't sneezing since i got there. i found out their vents are dusty! dusty like nasty dusty, with strands of dusts and half inch thick of dust right on the bathroom and bedroom vents. gee.. i m allegric to dust / pollen. sure, i'll live, but i just can't stop sneezing that nite. used tissues were all over the floor. 4th -- the room is freezing cold. i turned on the heat to 90 degree, the heat stops when the room is STILL freezing cold. luckily, i booked a 2 beds room, i took the other down comforter from the other beds. otherwise, i would totally change room. i don't think i will go there again.

Will Not Be Back
I found this hotel unacceptable. Upon my late night arrival I waiting for over 30 min to check in and was told the room I reserved was not available. They finally found a room and when I went in the floor and furniture was filthy. I went down to request a room change/upgrade and was told that could not be done. Needless to say I checked out and moved to another hotel. I will not be back to this hotel!

The hotel was amazing! Not pricey at all ! The only thing was that it was that some of the furniture looked disgusting such as the couches! I loved it had an amazing view! There were also a few things missing when I got in the room such as the privacy sign or a room menu. Once I asked the workers I got the items right away. The frozen daiquiris in the mini bar by guest services was amazing! I loved the drinks but it was only open on the Sunday that I was there on Monday it was closed the entire time :(.Other than that it was a great environment !

husband and wife get away
Checked into the room early.. Very clean comfortable, good view. Staff was great, very nice answered any questions we had.. Restaurants were very nice. Good choice of food and if u had low income u had that choice also. We had a very nice and relaxing time.. Thanks you very much for your help...

Double billed
Everything was okay but I was double billed for the room. The hotel said it will reimburse me in four days. Good thing I look at my bank statements.
