Not so good stay
We paid over $500 for a room that is outdated, old TV, dirty carpet and upholstery. We were allowed to bring the pet (which is a plus), but overall I would pay more than $150 for this room

nice room, nice casino
It was a Saturday evening and check-in is a rather late 4:00pm. Because everyone wants to check-in around then there is a huge line to check-in. It took about 30 minutes to check-in. This is a little ridiculous and probably only happens on Saturdays. But everything is in the hotel and casino you need including the House of Blues where I saw a concert.

Good, but get what you pay for
My boyfriend and I went to Showboat and we had a lot of fun together even though it wasn't the nicest hotel down in Atlantic City. You get what you pay for here, room wise. Our toilet was broken and the carpeting was a little on the dirtier side. We ate at Casa di Napoli downstairs right next to the casino...AMAZING. House of Blues was fun and had a good band there.

Mid-week stay
Older hotel on the boardwalk. Good value during the week. Found left over plastic bags all over the room. Glad they were empty! Leaking bath sink/shower. Paper thin walls. Good buffet and sandwich shop. They will charge you for wifi and it can be slow and spotty. Staff was polite and helpful. Easy check-in/out. Typical hotel d-bags yelling at 4 a.m. Not young kids either.
