Great Mid Week Stay
Had business in the AC area. I arrived for a late checkin. Valet, baggage and check in was fast, friendly and efficient. Good breakfast at Mansion Cafe Great Mid-week Price for the room as well.

Great 2 night girls night
went away with my two girlfriends and had a great time. loved that there was a free shuttle offered to Caesar's and Harrah's (both owned by the same company as Showboat). Jitney is super cheap and easy to use, cabs are a little over priced for AC. Only complaint - there was some loose tiles/molding in the shower. Yuck.

Recession isn't all bad!!
I was able to acquire a 2 night stay @ the showboat for just pennies on the dollar. I can't believe how nice my room was, it was huge! the bathroom was huge too. I felt like I was giving a suite by accident or something. I feel like I under paid....I'm already planning my next trip back and I'm dragging 3 of my friends with me. Only draw back is that the room next to me had a dog in it that kept barking, luckily he stopped at night other than that I had a great time, even when losing my $ at the slots LOL

A Great Time!
It was my second time going to Atlantic City and I had stayed at the Showboat before. I love this hotel. For the price paid, it can't get any better. There are so many things you can do inside and outside of it. The casino has a great energy and the drinks are well made and worth the price (the hurricane was a fantastic drink and with the buy one get the refills for half off, that's all I drank!). The service was good, whenever I had a question, it was addressed promptly and in full. The rooms were pretty basic but very comfortable though there was a stain or two on the curtain (guess you can't get everything out!). I would definitely stay here again. There is a Johnny Rockets (which is all I need for convincing), it's right on the boardwalk, there are many surrounding casinos, and the Safari Steakhouse is to die for.

Go to Johnny Rockets for meals. So cheap and delicious. Will keep you full for a day and it brings you back to the good old days (if you were born in the 50's and 60's).

concert overnighter
It was a decent room and perfect for a simple overnighter after a show at the House of Blues. Price was good since it was a Sunday night in October. The room decor was relatively outdated.

Stay here if you are seeing a show at the House of Blues. Can't get any closer! Not to mention Starbucks is also in the hotel to recover the next morning!

holiday getaway
very nice, and relaxing not into gambling but just having a good time with away from home with little stress. Nice place on the water and a little shopping.
