The bathroom and bathroom supply was great!
I was very happy with the look and cleanliness of the bathroom. It had a beautiful tile floor and marble countertop. The towel rack was in a strange place though as it was located within the shower/tub area. The towels were very large and luxurious. The maids were very generous with soap and shampoo. The beds were another story. They slanted and were obviously very old. The chair in the room was also very old and stained. I would rather have had a decent bed to sleep in than a fancy bathroom. One needed the large soak in tub after that very uncomfortable night in bed.

First time in AC
This was my birthday and I decide go to AC. I actually love the room, was so clean and big. The location was perfect, we walk like 1 mint to the boardwalk. The only thing I didn't like at all was the casino machines, they are so old I didn't play at all.

Wonderful Stay - Stellar Staff!
I stayed at the Showboat while attending a conference. My room was clean (there were a couple of mystery stains), and all of the staff were very helpful. The price for the room on Saturday seemed very high, but the was offset by the bargain price the rest of the week. I felt very safe traveling between the Showboat and Trump (where the conference was held).

Wasn't my first stay, but it will be my last
The front desk staff was very efficient and friendly. I was given a complimentary upgrade to a room in the Bourbon tower. The room itself did not appear to be any nicer than the rooms I've stayed in other times. The only difference I noticed was a double sink and a little better view. BEWARE if you valet park your car. After checking out, and on my way home, I noticed that my GPS device was gone. I don't have it mounted, I just keep it tucked in between the seat and console. I guess they left the power cord to avoid immediate suspicion. I realized it was gone when I went to use it to find an alternate route to avoid some heavy traffic. I called security to report it missing, obviously my word against theirs, but maybe it would be helpful if other guests were experiencing missing items. I was on hold for approximately 30 minutes. A security team member took my name and phone number, asked for the make and model of my car and the device and then said someone would call me back. Still waiting for that call. Overall, the room was inexpensive, but after adding in the price of replacing the GPS, I could have stayed at a nicer hotel.

This is a throw back hotel (very 1980's)
It's heyday has come and gone. Elevators are small and slow. Hotel needs to be updated past 1989.

Good price for students
I came there with couples of my friends for my 21st. This place is OK. The place is a bit run down. The door was sticky and there was no house keeping during my stays (2 nights).Given the price I paid, this is somewhat expected... The casino staffs were really nice and helpful.
