Rooms too small. Bathroom too small. Rooms have door access to the room next door. You can hear everything that happens in the next room. The tv is too old but the beds are pretty comfortable and because the room is so small the heat works perfectly. Too expensive for the quality. youre better off paying the extra cash for the tropicana or showboat.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
The restaurants on pacific ave usually have a wait time of more than an hour. But if you go into the Palms there are restaurants inside that tourists dont know about with shorterwait times or they take you in immediately.

You get exactly what you pay for, a place to sleep!
It is an ordinary hotel. Clean room, paper thin walls, tv, towels and bed. It even had a fridge. But no microwave, iron or blow dryer. It is like two block from tropicana, one block from the Hilton and one block from The Chelsea. We stayed here because we knew we werent going to spend any time in the hotel. And we didn't, we partyed and gambled all night then slept for few hours and were out again. I have stayed at the chelsea annex and while their room and hotel was better it cost more and all we did was sleep. Here you get exactly what you pay for, a place to sleep not to relax or spend time in the hotel. The only bad thing is the service sucked. Sam made a big deal about not allowing visitors. Just don't go past the front desk to get to the room, go up the side stairs or risk a twenty minute argument with Sam. First car free parking, second car is $10. Check out is 12pm, late check out for 2pm is an extra $20. Oh and the walls are paper thin, so expect being next to a loud room and not being able to sleep, or be prepared to be the loud room. Just remember is Atlantic City so most people will be loud and drunk in The hotel in the street, at the casino and clubs, so get used to it or stay home! Sorry to the people we kept up last night! Oh and a side note. 40/40 on a Friday was horrible. There was no cover but there was only maybe 20 people in the whole place. And the drink start at 13$. Providence on a Thursday night was amazing same thing though drinks start at 10$. Planet rose the Kareoke place in tropicana is great. Drink specials lots of fun. Just be prepared to wait an hour for you songs or pay 20$ to speed up the wait. Or just reserve. Private room!

Nightlife tip:
Short walk from hotel
You are right near the best night life at tropicana. It is a long walk to the trump plaza, Caesars and ballys. The cabs are expensive but there are these jitney buses that run very frequently for $2.25

WARNING DO NOT STAY HERE!!! UNSAFE!!!
Worst/most unsafe service i've ever received from a hotel before. First, there was no parking, Had to park in Econo Lodge 2 blocks away and walk to the hotel. Second, the staff was unfriendly. Extremely rude and assumed that you should just know where everything in the hotel was located. Last, and most important, it's extremely UNSAFE!!! 3 different times in one night OTHER PEOPLE'S KEYS WORKED ON MY DOOR. They literally walked right into the room. Had I not been there...who knows what would have went missing. When the staff was told.....their response was....."that is not possible. you are lying" When i explained that it was a security risk the staff stated that it again was impossible. I then asked how it was impossible because I knew right from the start the guy didn't know how to program room keys.....because it took 3 times before he programmed 1 of my 2 room keys correctly. I asked for a discounted rate due to this experience and the guy LAUGHED and then said...oh we don't do that. You paid already. I can offer you 50% off your next stay. I then LAUGHED in his face and told him that i'd never stay there again. DO NOT STAY THERE!!!!

Good for the price
Great location! The room wasn't the most comfortable and there were some maintenance issues. For the price though, it was nicer than we expected and the staff was very helpful.

It's what you'd expect in A.C.
People shouldn't 't stay here expecting a 5 star hotel. If you're looking for that, go pay the 200 or 300+ dollars for a room at one the casinos. It's close to several casinos, save for Harrah's and the Borgota, I had no issues with the cleanliness - it was fine. Really nothing wrong with it, it's just not going to be what you would get if you stayed at a casino.

Clean and worth the price
Right off the board walk. The ramp for the boardwalk is right behing the hotel. Also the jitney bus stop is right in front which runs up and down the strip every 10 minutes. For the $100 a night it is worth it. The room was clean which is what matters most to me. And yes I picked up the mattress and checked for bed bugs. The location was perfect.

The staff was very helpfull and nice to us the whole time. The cleaning crew did an amazing job cleaning up our messes! The location was as close as can be which was great for us because the beach, boardwalk and casino's is all that matters in A.C.!!The only downside was the Air conditioner it was like a fan pretty much and the TV was very old and grainy.
