Let me preface this by saying i would absolutely stay here again based on the price i paid. I'm a male and stayed with a male friend on a weekend for a night of clubbing. We stayed in the off-season so prices were very low. Even tho casinos also charge less in the winter, our room was still about 1/2 of what Trump was charging at face value. The Rodeway is located next to Resorts and is easily in walking distance of Revel to the North, which means Taj Mahal is even closer. There are a few liquor stores within a few blocks' walk, a bar a block or 3 away, and plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. The location is great and it's only 2 blocks from the boardwalk It's a motel, with outdoor room access. I didnt see a pool, nor would i want to use it if it had one. The room appeared clean, but who knows how clean it actually was. The electrical was shoddy and 2 lightswitches required flicking numerous times to turn the lights on. Moving one of the wallplates actually turned the light on and off, meaning most likely a terrible termination at the switch and a 2 minute repair. the bathroom ballast was missing the cover and there were wires exposed (and terminated so there wasnt any hazard, just unprofessional appearance) The room included a minifridge, microwave, tube tv with cable, and a safe in the closet. I have stayed at worst places, and for more money, in AC. If i had payed even close to what the casinos charge, i would have demanded a refund on the spot, but wanting a super cheap place to crash after getting out of a club at close to 4am, and being 2 dudes we dont have many qualms staying in 1 star motels when we know we're gonna be out all night. We had set plans for the evening and knew we wouldnt spend much time at all in the room besides passing out in the early morning. If you accept that any hotel in this price range is going to be sub-standard for most people, you will be fine. Like i said, ive payed more money for worse rooms in AC in the off-season and dont have a problem coming back here.

The Casbah @ Trump Taj Mahal and HQ Nightclub @ Revel are 2 high-class nightclubs within a short walk. There are probably others im forgetting as well.

One of the Cheaper Places to Stay in AC
You are considering this hotel because it is cheaper than others. There is a reason. But the location is good and it is bearable, so go for it if your just looking for a crash pad.

The hotel is half a block from the boardwalk, next to the resort's hotel and casino, has free parking, room is not great, but if your going over night and your not going to be in your room, except to shower and sleep then is good enough, you get what you pay for i guess, and is half price of the nice boardwalk hotels.. only recommend for overnight stay with your buddies, not a family place.

Not too bad at all.
You get what you pay for. And for what it cost for the one night, all and all, it was pretty good. It was still a little more than I would've liked to pay for an establishment of it's calibre, but it was over the weekend, and close to some decent casino's. I'd recommend it to a friend on a budget. Besides, you only really sleep there. However, the continental breakfast that was included left a LOT to be desired.
