Great couple getaway for celebration
The hotel was beautifully built. Many places to lounge and everything is well spaced for privacy even though in public place. The views were amazing, have to get a high floor with views of the water. The food was amazing and well priced for its quality. The spa was great, would suggest taking a day out just to spend at the spa and include a massage. The staff was friendly and nice. The downside would be the casino, as there wasnt many table games and for baccarat players there was only one table with a high limit. Also, if your not a party person this hotel might not be for you as we had people drunk running and banging on our door from 2am till 3am. Overall, experience was good and would go back again.

Great for couples
Revel is situated on the Boardwalk next to Showboat. It is a majestic, upscale Hotel with amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean and Other Hotels situated along the Boardwalk. The staff is friendly and professional. The casino is non-smoking which is great, since I'm a non-smoker. My room was huge and consisted of a king bed, with a large flat screen tv, huge windows to enjoy the view, mini bar stocked with beverages and very high tech features that I have not experienced at other hotels I have stayed at previously. I will definitely return in the future!!

Wonderful hotel / casino
So, first thing to know is that I grew up in Vegas so I have high expectations for hotel / casinos and I don't gamble. We went for the food, wine and beach / boardwalk. Overall, this was a beautiful hotel! I mean really beautiful. Even the casino was lovely and made you want to be there. The food venues were very nice offering truly good high-end food. The room was gorgeous and very comfortable. Check-in was very fast and smooth and again the room was well beyond expectations with a great view, bed, sitting area and bathroom. As we checked out the hotel we were really impressed with the number of different types of venues for food, drink and entertainment. Skywalk / garden was really "neet". The hotel is at the very far end of the boardwalk but we liked that as we love to walk and don't want to be in the middle of the crowd crush. We had dinner at Amada and Azure. Both were excellent! Food was great as was the service. However, prices did match the level of food (each dinner was around $300 for two ppl and we did not splurge). Most of the other restaurants were in the same price range ($15 app, $30 entree, desert, drinks) about $100 pp. Ben, the bartender in Azure, was really great. We had a fun time with him and he made this our go-to bar even if we were not eating there. Biggest disappointment was HQ. We love to dance and this was the only venue where dancing was on offer. It was supposed to open at 10 or about then we headed over. We were put in a line (of 5 ppl). About 10:20 someone came out and said "what do you expect, this is a nightclub, we don't open on time". So around 10:30 they finally start letting people in (at a trickle pace). It totally felt like they were making people stand in line to make it seem like they had a line. We get up to the bouncer who asks for our IDs. We are 40! COME ON! So we go back to the room to get our IDs then get back in line behind 20 ppl. At 11 we finally get up to the bouncer (who is again letting maybe one group in per 5 minutes). He doesn't look at our IDs so we enter only to find out the cover was $70! $70 for a nightclub in Atlantic City?! Come on! This was Saturday night, found out that even on a weekday the least the cover would be is $50 for a couple. Rant over. Room service was great! Setting up a table in front of our huge window. Again, you paid for it. $70 for a breakfast for 2. So, I don't think this hotel is a value (notice the average rating in that category) but we would recommend it and will be back because it was lovely. Next time we leave our dance shoes at home.

Seafood platter at Azure was really nice ($65) but if you split it for 2 ppl don't order an entree. It is already a decent amount of food. We had it with 2 salads and were set.
