The largest standard guest rooms at Atlantic City's first casino
The first and oldest casino in Atlantic City, Resorts Atlantic City opened in 1978 and recently added the Rendezvous Tower with new guest rooms. Its Boardwalk location is a short walk to the rides and arcade on the piers. On the third floor, a retractable glass roof reveals a heated indoor/outdoor pool and party-sized hot tub, free to guests. Stretch out for a suntan on the ocean-view sundeck. A casino, two theaters, a handful of restaurants and a 24-hour cocktail lounge keep choices varied but not overwhelming.
Highlights
- Largest standard guest rooms in Atlantic City inside the new Rendezvous Tower
- Boogie Nights weekend dance club with a 70s and 80s theme holds three 2010 Atlantic City Nightlife Awards
- Free indoor/outdoor pool with retractable glass roof
- Spa, salon, and health club (fees apply)
Rooms
Dating to the hotel's beginnings, Ocean Tower rooms have simple, light wood furnishings, bright bed coverings and oversized showers. Notably newer, Rendezvous Tower rooms are the largest standard guest rooms in town complete with Art Deco style, twin sinks, a makeup mirror and makeup desk. Find panoramic views and jacuzzi bathtubs in the Rendezvous suites. Avoid a line with electronic checkout from all rooms, plus premium channels, pay movies and Internet access (fees apply).
Features
Guests find action everywhere they turn from this high-rise Boardwalk locale on the beach. Dining highlights American favorites (steak, burgers, pizza, and casual, beach-inspired seafood) with Italian and Asian restaurants tossed in the mix. A daily fee grants guests access to the health club, home to a cardio fitness room, steam room, sauna, whirlpool, lockers and showers. Valet parking is available (fees apply).

The hotel was located on the Boardwalk in the middle of the strip. Had a ocean front view and a spacious room. The house keeping supervisor on the 4th floor was great. The room had a minor problem and she had it taken care of in minutes.

Weekend Getaway
Hotel is very beautiful and you can feel and see the history. Attentive staff. We had a very nice stay, but there were some observations made. The inside door lock/latch did not work properly so a locksmith was requested twice. There was no "Do Not Disturb" sign available for use. There was no clock or clock radio with alarm in the room. There was a clogged drain in the sink in the bathroom which caused a drip sound but that did go away eventually, but a little annoying. The TV was facing a chair, not the bed, and it was not on a turntable which made it difficult to watch TV in bed. Otherwise it was fine. However this was our first stay at Resorts, and we will most likely stay at one of the other hotels we usually stay at in the future, as we have not had these issues in other hotels in Atlantic City. We did enjoy our stay and had a great time in A.C. as usual. Hotel is very nice, but at these prices, needs to be more buttoned up from our perspective.

not a family getaway
The man reason for this little trip was that my kids were on spring break, so I don't think that is reasonable that the pool is closed at 5pm. I thought no at least should be open until 8pm. Another thing that annoyed me and my family was that we heard hammering noises at 7 am.... This is just a suggestion, nowadays every hotel should have wi fi, that was dissapointing, you guys should think about offering free wi fi for your installations, I m pretty sure, many more people would look at you as the next place to stay for vacation... Comfortable & conveiant
I enjoyed the stay - I like to stay at the resorts because of the closeness to the convention that I attend every year. It seems that they are trying hard to improve and bring new companies that will help them out in the future. All in all, I enjoyed my stay.

Good Value
Although this is not the most modern hotel in AC, I was perfectly comfortable with my stay here. The room was pretty large, had 2 bathrooms and walk in closets. I didn't realize I had booked a suite (I just booked a King size bed through this website). I was down in AC for work in addition to pleasure so I mainly ate at Bread sticks, the more casual restaurant here. The prices are not too bad and the service was pretty good. If you want the more upscale feel with larger shops and more luxury, I would recommend going to over to the "other" side of AC as opposed to along the boardwalk , but if you just want a clean room and don't mind the older styling (although they are undergoing a lot of construction updates), Resorts was a good option. Also, the casino does not tend to be quite as crowded as some of the others, since it is further up the strip.
