Skip the driving with free shuttles, breakfast and a pool
Those looking for pet-friendly lodging near Atlantic City can inquire about the pet policy at this nicely priced hotel three miles from the Boardwalk. Service at the Ramada Atlantic City West starts with a free shuttle from the Atlantic City Airport. The entire hotel is wired with free Wi-Fi and the lobby convenience mart makes it easy to pick up snacks for the room. This was alright for a one night stay near AC. There was nothing special about the room except that it was loads cheaper than staying in AC and that we were there only one night. Our Non-smoking room smelt like someone spent years smoking in it before we got there, the smell was just embedded in the room. The shuttle service was good, both the free and the pay for shuttle- much cheaper than taking a taxi from AC back they were asking for 25-35 dollars for 3 miles ridiculous! Breakfast was typical and nice to have something there... If I was to do a long weekend I might fork over the cash to stay somewhere nicer.

ROACH HOTEL
This has got to be THE WORST hotel experience of our life. First, the pics on the website is extremely misleading. When we got to the hotel, we knew we were in for an ugly experience. The hotel sign is run down. The glass doors to the office/registration were soooo dirty. The parking lot needs alot of work. Not to mention our hotel room!!!! It smelled so bad!!!!The carpeting were nasty!!!! But since it was the 4th of July, we knew we had no where else to go and we tried to make the best of it. The water in the bathtub went down extremely slow. There was a dead roach plastered on the bathroom wall. Needless to say, ROACH HOTEL. This hotel doesn't deserve not even a 1 star!!!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Great for the Money
A positive stay, The shuttle service was great to and from the city. The Breakfast offering was average. The wifi was down, this was a problem for me as i needed to do some business. Overall a pleasant stay.

Last minute one night hotel stay for the concert this weekend. The room was s clean as it could possibly get. It's just old and run down.
