Knights Inn Atlantic City/Near Boardwalk

This place is a roach infested, noisy dump. The owner/manager is cunning and unaccommodating to customer requests. I asked for a non-smoking room when I checked in around 1pm on Saturday but been told they do not have it. I just don’t believe a hotel does not provide non-smoking rooms under the current smoking awareness. When first entering my room, it was hot inside with stagnant moldy smelling air. The AC unit did not work and can not be turned on. I quickly checked the bath room and only see one bath towel on the rack. I returned immediately to the office and told Raj the situation. To my amusement, he opened an electric panel on the wall inside of his office and flipped the switch to turn on AC unit in my room. To my disgust, the office switched off the AC next morning at around 8am. Apparently, they can remotely control how and when you can have AC in your room disregard how you want your AC to be set. The addition towel (so now we had two bath towels) they brought to us was so dirty. It had a volley ball sized darker stain in the middle and the towel was old and rough. We also saw cricket sized roaches crawling on the ceiling and wall. I will never go back to this place. It cost me $230 to stay here in August 2012. I should have spent $300 to stay in Trump Taj Mahal I have learned a big lesson.

HOTEL NEEDS MORE PARKING CANT LEAVE TO DRIVE ANY WHERE CAUSE WHEN U COME BACK NO PARKING AVAILABLE

Room clean and staff very accommodating. Actually showed me two rooms and allowed me to pick the one I wanted. Let us check-in early. Allowed me to keep my car on their property after checking out for several hours without cost. Only charged me $10 for the second car for overnight stay and after checkout for several hours. Next time would ask for room on second floor, as first floor was busy.

This had to be the worst hotel I have stayed in for years and if you do not want to sleep this is the place to stay. The beds were old, the room smelled of mold and mildew, the road noise from Pacific Avenue was so lous that it was louder than the highest volume on the TV, the staff could not speak English well, there was no ice machine service and it was reminiscent of a hotel that had not had any improvements in 30 years. There was even lumpy carpet. Stay away from this disaster of a hotel.

the room was ok for what it was. Close to the beach and casinos but the room was in need of some TLC. A lot of loud street activity all night. Not bad if you are just looking for a less expensive place to stay by the casinos but I would not bring children.

Perfect and cheap place for a couple of nights, but not for lon term or for holidays. nothing but sleep and shower.

I worked @ the AC food & wine show. Hotel costs went up 100% so I paid $227+ for a nights stay. The hallways were dark, ppl stood outside doing nothing & the signs for parking permits was misspelled (I'm sorry, I just think professional establishments should partake in spell check). Luckily, I only had to spend about 5 hours in the room. That was enough time to get a little rest (I kept waking up thinking someone was trying to get in my room) & take a shower (the bathroom door didn't close all the way). I wouldn't tell anyone to stay there, but it did serve it's purpose. So if your looking for just a place to stay without paying maximum money & don't mind dark & dingy towels (brought my own just in case), stay at the travellodge. FYI, last year I stayed @ trump marina & paid over $300. When I went to my room it wasn't cleaned so it's all a "[*] shoot". I can say the room was clean @ the travellodge. 2 stars- get some lights & clean towels! Also no irons are in the room.

The room was average Needed some upkeep drawer broken but it was fine for one night didn't like that we had to park in a lot around the corner with a disabled husband that was inconvient
