I was very satisfied with harrah resort.
I went to there with my friend's family and asked the employee to assign the rooms located same floor. Our two rooms were connected through inside door, so adults played one room and children played another room. We were very convenient. ^^ This resort buffet was very delicious but there were so many people. We had to wait for 1 hour to enter the buffet. This resort is casino hotel. So somking smell is unavoidable and other hotels are same.

Not a delightful stay!!!!
I booked this hotel to take my daughter and a friend away, as It is cold in ny and I figured there was at least an indoor pool. Well when we got there, the kids pool was closed for renovation and there was only a 21 and older pool. it is away from the boardwalk, too far to walk to anything, everything in the hotel is way too expensive, staff service was not very accommodating!!!!! I would never stay there again, the manager there said they informed the site I used for booking, this site that their kid pool was not in operating order, however the site did not mention anything about it!!!! I am also not happy with this booking site, it was a waste of my money and time!!!

Family Getaway
It was a great, modern hotel and beautiful room. Only down sides were that we asked for a bay view room but we got a view of the parking lot. We also booked this hotel because of the indoor poor...unfortunately the pool was closed for cleaning so we didn't get to swim :( ...other than that, i would definitely recommend this hotel.

NO A GOOD STAY FOR CHILDREN
The pool at the hotel is absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately they don't allow anyone under 21 in. There was no alternative recreational pool. After speaking with the manager the only compensation I was giving was to go over to one of their other resorts. Hotel was also a little loud with party goers.

Problem at check in time
We have booked from waterfront tower which is more expensive than standart rooms. We have arrived to hotel reception at 23.00 and start to check in process with Eri ( receptionist ) . We mentioned to her about our reservation is for waterfront tower and she heard it and continue process. Than she gave our room cards. We ebtered our room and we thought that room should not the expensive one. After that we get out from room and ask to one customer which tower it is, she said to us it is marin tower, after that we returned to receptionist to ask why she didnt give us from right tower which we booked with much cost. She checked and say to us ooo there is no nonsmoking room at that tower but she forgot to give us a smokefree room from marintower. After that she said to us there is no king size bed from waterfront tower, we answered to her ok no problem in anyway we would like to stay in new tower because we paid extra for that towers room ? At the and she gave us our rooms !!!! But she had not want to give us the rooms from there, we didnt understand that why recepsionist wants to Cheat us! We went to our rooms at 42 floor room and we saw the keys are not open the door ! ! Than we returned to reception from 42nd floor with a luggage to change the keys. At the and we start to our check in process at 23.00 and we could reach our room at 00.30 we walked in all the hotel area from room to reception and to room and again reception with a luggage for 1.5 hours......

Make sure you bring the right IDs
I went there with my mom who is 56 and my sister who is 26 for 3 days. When we checked in, everyone was very nice, the lady at the desk was pleasant. When we got to the room it was fairly clean but very dusty. I found out when I went to make a call to the front desk and the phone was dusty. I could run my fingers over the buttons and pick up layers of dust. That night we went to the casino no problems there. The next day we wanted to go to The Pool that is covered. You need to be 21 to get in. Apparently because they have a built in bar. I showed my CT ID but since my mom an sister are not from the US and were visiting they would NOT accept her ID from their country unless it was the passport. We didn't think we would need a passport to go to a hotel. They had left theirs back in CT. We just wanted to go to the pool. That was all. I spoke with the regional manager and he said the same. No go. Apparently they don't have a problem with IDs when you are gambling tho. We were very frustrated and nobody was willing to help. Mind you the site only says you need to be 21 or older. Nothing about bringing passports. We learned our lesson but I don't think I'll be going back to that hotel tho. Besides its a little ways away from the other hotels and the broad walk. In car is about 5-10 minutes

family vacation left something to be desired
was not what we expected for a 4 star hotel. cigarette smoke smell permeated the air throughout the entire premises. was not informed in advance about all the extra 10 dollar charges for room tax and etc which ended up totalling 40 dollars as well as the 100 dollar reservation holding fee.on a positive note when we needed a new remote for our tv in our room the maintenance man came very quickly and was very friendly. there was no information in the rooms for local restaurants in the area but there was a concierge available at certain times to give you information if you wanted. the directions to get off the hotel premises was a little confusing and we got lost a few times. there were 3 of us in our party so we were unaable to take advantage of the bus they call the jitney as it was only available for 2 ppl., per room.so we had to drive and pay 5 dollars to park everytime we went into the city.
