It was decent
I had reserved a two queen bed room, but when I got there they said I could only get a one king bed room. I was at a loss for words, not understanding why I had to make a reservation then if I was not going to receive the room I had reserved.

Pretty nice overall
We stayed overnight in the Bayview Tower. Slightly disappointed that the only "view" we had was of the Harrah's sign and the parking garage instead of the actual bay. However, the room itself was very nice. Nice little sitting area. Bathroom had a glassed-in shower stall, large tub, and the toilet was in a separate little doored section of the bathroom for privacy. The Bayview Tower is close to both the gaming floor and the "Tastes of the Shore" section with different places to eat at. The only real complaint we had was a group of loud people in the room next door, but they settled down around midnight.

Do the water tower NOT the bay tower
Location to casino is exceptional at both places. Cleanliness is seen as a nonexistent priority for the bay tower cleaning staff.

Best for your buck
It is located off the boardwalk and it helps with the crowds that can get annoying. You can stay in Ceasars for a bit more but I would think that you wouldn't get any sleep if you wanted to sleep. The rooms are clean and very large but the hallways and the casino level is suffering a bit from the party crowd. Overall good for your money, average price, comfortable rooms, good casino and good restaurants. The breakfast buffet is a rip off though, I would stay away.

Time-saving tip:
Short drive from hotel
For some reason, the google navigation to the boardwalk spits you out to the highway, take exit A to the convention center when you see it or you will pay 1.50 and drive a few miles for no good reason. DOH!

4-star hotel...? I'm not so sure...
The hotel room was overall clean and neat. The Waterfront view did not have "waterfront" view, and it cost me extra for upgrading to that room. The ice machines were broken in most floors, so I had to go search floor to floor to find a working ice machine. The location is not too great since it's located far away from the boardwalk area. You need to drive in order to get to the boardwalk and the shopping center. Staffs were mostly nice and friendly, but average considering Harrah's to be a "4-star" hotel.

Great experience!
The hotel was very nice. Upon arrival, the staff informed us that they didn't have any rooms left at our price level, so they offered us a free upgrade to a suite! We were very pleased with it. Will definitely come back!
