Great Bang for your Buck
So my boyfriend and I needed a short fun get-away without it being a burden to our pockets . We liked how close the Econo was to the casinos. The room was fairly decent considering the price. I was happy to not get bitten by bed bugs which I feared. They could change the shower curtains which seemed to be dingy. Other than that they were great, a good place to stay if your looking to save money.

The Tiplitzy a small contemporary diner like restaurant was great, it is right around the corner and the food and service is great ! There was a bit of a wait 30 minute wait on a Monday . But worth it great turkey sausage !

First of all [...] charged about $120.00 for one night plus additional tax, but as such the Econo Lodge charges only $49.00 for one night on 11-20-10Second: The bathroom faucet was leaky and the water will not drain in the sink, the carpet was moldy and wet next to the bed. You can carry mold with you if you walk bare foot in the room. (Room 230)

good location for the price
The hotel staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean, and lots of things to do within walking distance.

Too expensive for a MOTEL!
For the $200 a night we paid, the hotel could have had at least a shower that gave hot and cold water mixed. Our room had either hot or cold. The ground floor smelled as if you were near a canal and noise was an issue. Upon checking in we were greeted by a guest complaining to the manager about a seemingly blood stain issue on her mattress. How true that was, I really do not want to know. Location wise it was great. However for $200/night you kinda expect a hell lot more. Pay the extra and move up the street!

Fine place to stay.
Great location next to the trop. Yea it was no ritz, but for 50 bucks on a friday night it was great value.

Friendly lobby staff. Clean rooms. Ideally located. Great for an overnight stay. Don't expect luxury, Just convenience!

A Winning BET
I had read some bad reviews about this place but was willing to try it out because the price was right. It was definately a gamble that paid off! The location was great! Just steps to the beach, The Tropicana Casino, and Dunkin Donuts! The staff was both friendly and efficient. They put out a nice breakfast, complete with hot, fresh-made waffles. The housekeeping staff did a nice job of cleaning the rooms. For the price - this was a GREAT place to stay at the beach!

Quick getway.
The room was samll, we were placed in a room located on the first floor. The room was across the street from the tropicana bus depot so it was very noisy at times.

Perfect for one night stay.
Easy to check in and an attendant watched over the parking lot. It had superior location right next to the tropicana and boardwalk. I would stay again!

CLEAN BATHROOM
MY BOYFRIEND AND I WANTED TO GO DOWN TO A.C. JUST FOR A FUN WEEEKEND.WE DIDNT WANT TO SPEND ALOT ON OUR ROOM CONSIDERING WE ONLY USE IT TO SLEEP.SO ECONO LODGE HAD A FAIR RATE.THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE BATHROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AS WELL.ITS NOT THE TAJ BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
