Shopping and colossal decor exude Old Rome decadence
Hail Ceasars, a well-placed beach and Boardwalk hotel that astonishes guests with the grandeurs of ancient Rome. The larger-than-life theme touches nearly every surface. Visit the rooftop bar, famous casino, and a spa with three pools reminiscent of the glorious and historic Roman public baths (fees apply). A bridge from the second floor stretches over the Boardwalk to indulgent shopping at the Pier Shops at Caesars. More than 135 table games, an Asian-infused gaming area, and Roman palace high-limit salon make the casino a Boardwalk landmark.
Highlights
- A luxurious spa plus abundant dining and shopping for a lavish getaway
- Sought-after names in entertainment take the Circus Maximus stage with stadium-style seating for 1,500 fans
- Mimosas with Sunday brunch from a buffet with panoramic ocean views
- Central location on the beach and Boardwalk
- Home to the World Series of Poker and over 135 game tables
Rooms
Rooms and suites in three newly renovated towers include carved-wood dressers, a shimmering mirrored wall, a mosaic-tile bath and options for a custom lighting scheme. Some rooms face the interior, but Luxury Rooms offer skyline views along with flat-screen TVs, fine architectural details and designer-style appointments from the flooring to the headboards.
Features
Eighty stores and restaurants offer retail temptations at the Pier Shops at Caesars -- including Burberry, Tiffany & Co. and Apple -- all on a vibrantly lit pier over the Atlantic Ocean. Adults only can mingle at the seasonal rooftop pool and bar. Come nighttime, duck into Dusk nightclub or admire Grecian goddess dancers in the Toga bar. Ask for details about the Pet Stay per-friendly rooms (fees apply).
Dining
Ten restaurants in Caesars and eight more in the Pier Shops introduce flavors and design as lavish and themed as the hotel itself. In Mediterranean-inspired Mia, dine under Majestic Roman columns and soaring ceilings. At the exotic, dreamlike Buddakan, chef Stephen Starr transports guests to an ancient Chinese village complete with rock gardens, thatched roofs and a dramatic twilight sky. A gigantic golden Buddha watches over the long, communal table. Other restaurants include Morton's The Steakhouse, La Piazza and vp Burger Bar.
Recreation
Qua Baths & Spa features Roman rituals in massage rooms, facial studios, and three deluxe Couples Studios for romantic massages and body treatments. Take in the peacefulness of the tea lounge with its tea sommelier, plus crystal body art, herbal steam room, and cedarwood sauna. A fitness concierge personalizes workout regimens (fees apply).

Needs to be better organized
Our room was not ready when we tried to register and there was not a good estimate of when it would be. Also trying to find out about restaurants and to make a reservation by phone was terribly unorganized. Calling the number listed in the room sent me to a centralized number outside of the hotel for which a phone call was charged

Birthday weekend with husband
Overall experience was below average. We went to there years ago and I remember it being so luxurious. It has really gone down hill and needs updating. I have no problem with a hotel being out of date but at a minimum I expect cleanliness and it was far from clean. There was hair of all sorts left behind in the bathroom sink and walls and shower. The walls were absolutely filthy throughout the hallways and rooms. It was far below the standard I expect from a $400 per night hotel. There are no amenities during the cold months unless you want to pay $50 to use the spa.

I had a great time!
I wasn't expecting to have a great experience; I thought it was going to be like other hotels, but I was sorely mistaken. I had a great time! The staff was friendly and helpful, my room was comfortable and had a great view of the courtyard. The architecture was beautiful and I loved the layout of the building. the only thing that was lacking was the 24 hour shop. The food could have been better.

What a great bathroom, lol
I agonized over where to stay. Travel sites contained both positive and negative reviews for every hotel casino in Atlantic City. In the end, I chose Caesar's based on experiences many years ago during trips to Las Vegas. The price was more than fair, and my request for a room in the Centurian Tower was fulfilled. The room was great, clean and roomy. My wife loved the bed and I loved the bathroom, especially the large shower with plenty of water pressure and a seat inside. I certainly would stay at Caesar's again. I do wish the casino had more access to blackjack for amounts less than $25 a hand.

Eat at MIA
The overall grade for Caesars is a B. We upgraded the room and it was good. The only thing that didnt make sense was the TV in the mirror in the bathroom. The bathroom didnt have a tub so why the need for a TV in the bathroom? Waste of an expense. We ate at Mia and that was the best part of the night. This place was worth every penny and I usually hate expensive resturants. The wait staff at the resturant was polite and friendly. The food was amazing. If I had to pick on something I would say to heat up the butter before serving it. The butter was too cold to spread on the bread. the casio area was average but fine. Overall, I would recommend staying here.

Felt like a mini vacation
I stayed here for a business meeting. My company did not offer to pay other than the meeting cost and parking. I stayed over the night before and the night after the meeting and enjoyed the entire stay. The staff is totally friendly and available.

Stay in the rear of the restaurants so not to smell cigarette smoke that come from the casinos.
