Ascot Motel Beach Block is located next to Tropicana Casino and half a block from Atlantic City's famous boardwalk. Trump Plaza, Hilton, and Caesars casinos and Boardwalk Hall are all within 10 minutes' walking distance. Taj Mahal, Showboat and House of Blues are within 15 minutes, and Atlantic City Convention Center is just a mile and a half away.

Not my idea of a good place!
We stayed one night here and it was more then enough for me it was gross it smelled and they offer a breakfast that was a joke. This place was so bad we dropped our stuff off and walked around the boardwalk till we were so tired we would just pass out then went in and went to bed and got up first thing in the morning and went to check out the breakfast and had a good laugh. For what we paid to stay there i expected a lot more then this my advice to other people is spend the extra money and get a better place if not dont say i didne't warn you!!!!

Never Again
The room was dirty, it had mold and extremely humid. Room service never entered to clean the room. They claimed to have a microwave in the room our room didn't have one. The bathroom mat was made of paper, more like a cheap resturant table mat. The picture of the pool was beautiful but when we went to use it it had a white film on the surface as if it had not been cleaned in days. I will never stay or even reccommend this hotel. I would dogs to stay there.

labor day weekend
Everything was good except for the lack of hot water. We never found out how to access the wifi. Finally there were no wash clothes in the room nor at the front desk.

Cheap but not too bad
The staff is extremely nice they held my parking space while I went out to party, very close to Tropicana you can walk to the boardwalk, the room has a fridge, dont know what happened to the television service but I came to party. Some of the other roomers were loud, but it wasnt bad for the price and the location. If I was on a budget on a holiday weekend when casino hotel prices are bumped up I would stay here.

this hotel was pretty gross. im pretty sure i probably brought home some bed pets. there was one towel in the bathroom that was all stained, no soap to shower with (thank goodness i brought my own). the bathroomwas not clean at all, the sheets wreaked of cigarette smoke even though i requested a non smoking room. the elevator smelled foul (like mildew and urine). will never stay there again.

Weekender With Wife
Better Than Expected
Don't fret about some negative reviews here. We stayed a weekend in Aug., 2012. The pool was sparkling clear. Parking is free and in an adjacent lot with an attendant. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Did not hear a sound. There was a small tear in the chair cushion. If that stops you from a beach block room half the price of the casinos, well then... Not to mention the Mad Men feel of the place.

Girls night
Not bad for the price
Its not a 5 star hotel but for what we needed and the price it was great. We were able to check in at 10AM as well which was nice, at no extra charge. There was also a fridge in the room to our suprise

What a mistake
I booked this room because I could not fine anything else, but what a mistake, next time if I can not find something that I know I will stay home, I could not sleep the two nights that I stayed, people with no respect drinking the hole night, deffenely not good experience.

Stay there only if you have to
Needed overnight stay on Friday. All other places are very expensive. This one has great location, and thats it.
