Hyatt Place RaleighNorth

Hotel room was extremely comfortable and clean and the wet bar & refrigerator were an added convenience. TV was super. This was much nicer than other hotels we have stayed at in the Raleigh area for much less money. Will definately stay here again.

This is a great hotel with a very friendly staff. We stayed there 4 nights over Christmas and they were spectacular. I can't say enough about these great people.

It was the first time that I stayed at a Hyatt Place, but it won't be the last. The room was very clean and comfortable. Got a good night's sleep.

First our check in did not go smoothly- they lost our reservation. Then they said they couldn't find it- so I gave them my printed out confirmation. They said- oh, you signed in as a different name (nope- same one- same credit card, same everything). Then I asked them why my confirmation code didn't work- for some reason mine had letters and it confused them. FINALLY we got our room and it was a ctually a decent room, but seemed stuffy and humid. We turned on the AC to dry out or help with the issue- but the vents were so clogged up and dirty that not only was it QUITE visiblely dusty and caked on there (had not been cleaned in a very long time) but it blew out dust and our allergies went off for the rest of our trip. We actually paid morne money to stay here because it seemed a lot nicer- save your money and go to a cheaper hotel- apparently they don't care and aren't very friendly either. We asked if there was a mall near by and the lady at the counter rolled her eyes and pinted behind her and said "about two exits that way." This turned out to be very wrong- she showed us the wrong way and we wasted our time back tracking. I've been in this area before and stayed at cheaper hotels, again, worst experience in NC I ahve had to date.

Very comfortable rooms, clean. Great TV. King Bed was very comfy. Lots of space

The hotel was great but do not use Orbitz. The following is a message I just sent them: "First, you all did not get that I wanted 2 rooms causing my guests to have to make their own reservations at a different hotel. Second, when I got it refunded, they refunded it to me at a lower rate then what I paid. Third, that lower rate was on the form I signed in checking out thus showing that Orbitz overcharged me for the Hotel room. I got the full price I paid back on the second hotel room I did not receive, but I am not even going to fight the fact that you all overbooked my room by $10. When a business messes up this much it should have done something to the room I stayed it whether it was discount it or whatever, but instead I had to fight you all the whole way. Thanks Orbitz for making a simple hotel reservation HELL."

Check in was easy, but the hotel clerk was not very friendly. The lobby was extremely small along with the breakfast area. The tub did not drain well and we were left with a ring for the next user, but housekeeping cleaned it each morning. Having a wide screen TV was awesome. The internet capability was good. The elevator took a long time to come and we had problems initially finding the ice machine location. Overall, the bed was super comfortable and the arrangement of the room was excellent. I loved my room, except for the tub. I hated the lobby. Pretty nice location and the pool was great!
