BEST WESTERN Raleigh North-Downtown

The room was supposed to be nonsmoking but it still had the smell of smoke and dampness. The parking wasn't good, the spaces were very narrow and most people took 2 spaces. I definitely would not recommend this hotel.

Satisfactory, I've stayed at this hotel a few times and never had any issues.

The hotel locates very closed to the major freeway, also there are many choices of restaurants nearby.

Warning: This hotel is likely used for prostitution. Our room had supposedly been cleaned at 1:00 PM but when we checked in around 10:00 PM, there were beer bottles in the bed and trash can, used condoms and p. hair in the bathroom. The manager apologized but we moved to a different hotel. Stay there at your own risk. I travel a lot and have stayed at many hotels. Never have I ever encountered something like this in all my years. It was disgusting.

very unhapp,y that we left the same night and went next door to holiday in. i was promised an early check in because we were from out of town and arrived ahead of schedule, when i got there at 1:09 pm the manager stated to me just because you were told early check in doesnt mean you get it. come back at 3pm when check in is, that soured my taste then. i would like a full refund

Good location, clean and huge room, close to "THE PIT".

The Hotel has a great appearance, but if smell could be added to the slide show on line about the rooms it would change your opinion! As we arrived at 1 pm as booked we were told there were no rooms available till 3 pm, than immediately 2 rooms with a smaller size bed became available, I asked if there was any problems in the rooms and was assured everything was ok but was not allowed to take a look either accept or wait. We needed to get ready for a wedding and preceded to room 207. The musty smell could be cut with a knife, we open the doors to air out the place, so we could breathe. The window unit had mold coming out of filter and was draining the water under the carpet instead of outside. Its a shame the the remodel just took care of cosmetic issues but did not fix major appliance/functions critical to a room. This also falls into the cleanliness category those window units have the tendency to be ignored but the awful smell they cause can make or brake a room. On the positive side bed was comfortable there are many amenities, breakfast included.

Room had multiple stains in carpet, no fridge or microwave in room, weird plumbing from upstairs through light fixture in bathroom. Felt a little nervous staying here alone, questionable neighborhood with difficult access to main road, evidence of multiple car crashes at driveway

The hotel staff left lot to be desired. The women reception the day of checkin lied to me and kept lying to me to the point I was frustrated. However, when I arrived back the male receptionist who actually checked me in actually wanted to assist me. Side note do bring your own towels they weren't clean and the room smelt like the pool that old cholorine smell. The atmosphere was very quiet i liked that.

We needed a close place to stay for an outpatient surgery for my daughter. This was very convenient and surprisingly quiet near a busy highway. I would recommend this hotel.
