The Ramada Charlotte Hotel and Conference Center is only 2.5 miles from Charlotte/Douglas Airport and only 3 miles to Downtown Charlotte. We offer unlimited parking and FREE 24 hour shuttle service to and from the hotel. We are centrally located to Charlotte Business Districts, Downtown, Convention Center, Lowes Motor Speedway-NASCAR, the Coliseum, Carowinds and other area attractions. Ok

If you are looking for a basic clean hotel and nothing special this is a good place. This is an older hotel, the rooms are older but decent.

Not the Ramada Experience - Cancelled Booking

Unfortunately this hotel was undergoing renovation BUT their definition of renovation is not the same as mine. There appeared to be bullet holes that were filled in with drywall patch, larger holes were in the walls and not patched, the odor in the hall as well as the room was awful. We were told to use exit 6 and swipe our room keycard to open the door, we didn't need to since the door was propped open with a broken broom. There was external activity being conducted and that is being submitted to the proper authorities. We immediately went to the front desk and notified them we would not be staying. I have taken pictures documenting the condition of this hotel and will be sending a letter to Ramada.
