Very nice hotel
First thing you need to know about this La Quinta is that it's a hotel and not a motel! La Quinta's can go either way and it can be hard to tell from pictures which type it is - we've been fooled in the past! Large rooms and large bathrooms. Extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff. Our only complaint is that the pool and hot tub area hadn't yet opened for the season. After long days of being on the road we were really looking forward to the hot tub, and no where did it say that the hot tub was seasonal, as is the norm on other sites when booking hotels. We needed something close to the airport but also close enough to get to good restaurants, and this fit the bill!

Good Stay
Easy on/off 77. Overall the rooms and common areas were acceptably were clean. It would have rated better, if details like the light switch on the side of the bed hadn't been filthy and if the grout between the tiles had been cleaned. The staff was very friendly and for the price and location I would stay there again.

Decent stay
Hotel is fairly close to downtown Charlotte and the aiport. However, the hotel is not clean and the room I stayed in had a bad smell. Also, the breakfast was not good.

Right place for the right price
I needed a hotel for a business matter. The price was an excellent value - low price but a nicely cared-for property. The room was large and airy. A basic free breakfast in the morning starting at 6am. I needed two copies made of a 30 page document. Although they have no business center, the person on duty at the desk was happy to make the copies for no charge.

Surprisingly bad experience
A non-smoking room booked but room had horrible smoking smell. Changed room similar story with little less stink. Furniture was extremely over-used, (rips, ware).

Solid
Nothing amazing, but a solid hotel sort of near the airport. Clean room, free breakfast. A bit pricey, but hey, that's the way it goes.

Wonderful overnight stay
My stay was short but I loved this hotel. Will definitely stay here on my next trip to Charlotte. Clean, staff was friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to my next trip

Shopping center about 3 miles up the road. Walmart lowes Payless shoes and different restaurants there.. Carmela's pizzeria was delicious and reasonable

Great Value!!
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The staff was friendly it was only a 10 minute drive to the center of town. The rooms were large and had everything an average traveler would need. Would stay again!!
