Business trip with my son.
Staff was very friendly. The room was dirty. Need to vacuum up to the wall and in the corners. Room was a decent size but small window felt claustrphobic. Cracks in walls and ceiling. Toilet didn't flush very well. Decor was old and dated. Restaurant was expensive and eerily empty. Then there was no where to walk to. Shuttle service was undependable.

There was only one person and she got a little harried and abrupt when 4 people were at the counter. The manager was ineffective in providing her assistance. Restaurant was closed on Saturday lunchtime but staff gave good directions to local restaurant.

Staff was very helpful; The seminar we attended had some issues with seating, too little. Remote was missing from one room; very pricey for what it is.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had; when I got to the hotel, there was no person working the front desk. It took 30-45 minutes for the general manager to be called in from home and I had to wait in line for 1 hour just to check into the hotel. When I was finally given a room, there was someone in it already, forcing me to go back to the front desk to get another room. The room I finally got was half-cleaned, without pillow covers, and otherwise in disrepair. The whole experience was terrible, and the hotel staff was irresponsible and discourteous. I was not the only one who had a horrible experience, as some guests were given rooms that had not been cleaned at all and were missing sheets and had dirty towels on the floor in the bathroom.

Nightly stay waiting to fly out
The hotel staff was friendly and the rooms were decent. There was a stale damp odor that permeated the floor I was on, to include the room.

Functional and convenient
This was a handy place to crash before an early flight out of CLT. The airport is barely a mile away, which was my main criterion. That said, the rooms were a bit dated, with older TVs and faded materials, but quite functional, and there's the standard assortment of gym, business room, pool, etc. A good value, overall.

Good value
Overnight stay to catch an early flight the next day. Location perfect for going to the airport. Ate dinner and breakfast in hotel restaurant. Dinner selection somewhat limited, but OK.

Great location and friendly staff
The staff was friendly, the room was clean and quiet, and transportation to airport was a big plus. We would definitely stay again.
