Served the purpose but...
Housekeeping needs some attention! We needed towels. No one answered housekeeping extension. Went to the front desk to request twice before we finally got what we needed. Trash was not removed from the room when the cleaned it. Room Service closes at 10:00PM. That is a little early. We returned from a concert and the only thing we could get was pizza from Dominos.

Nice stay
Overall, we had a good stay for one night. First, let's cover the cons - very limited parking when checking in (you're in a parking deck that is shared by 2 hotels), not enough towels in the room (3 bath towels for 4 people), and our shuttle driver would not drive us to the restaurant we were wanting to eat at (at first he didn't know where it was and then when dropping off other guests he said that this is where we would be getting off too). The pros - room was clean, the front desk staff was amicable (one gentleman in particular was great), Sunday breakfast buffet was good, and the hotel is within walking distance to popular downtown areas (~ 4-5 blocks). Overall, the stay was good for the price. Our biggest complaint was the shuttle driver not taking us to our preferred restaurant.

Great deal!
Hotel is a great deal! It's located south of the city close to Southend. There is a free shuttle that runs til midnight that will take you within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. We used that both nights to drop us off at restuarants. We could've walked, but it was very cold so we utilized the free shuttle option. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Free internet too!

Hotel 4 stars, [...]
Our hotel was very nice. Other than getting my reservation messed up, the overall room service, cleanliness, etc was super. I had registered online for 2 queen beds but somewhere along the way, I ended up with 1 king bed. Since I was traveling with my husband and two daughters at the last minute, we were forced to get a roll away cot for one of our daughters to sleep on. After driving for 3 hours, and working 12 hours on my feet, a cot was not what I had envisioned for the price we paid. This was very disappointing. We were told that [...]was the one to change what we had registered for. By the time we were trying to check in, all of the double queen rooms were taken.

Trip to NASCAR Hall of Fame
We came from Seattle to Charlotte just to see the NASCAR hall of fame. The staff treated us fantastic. Every one was friendly and quick to offer help. The little pantry store was a life saver for us. We arrived late, in the Christmas snow, and there was no place open for dinner. The shuttle drivers were more than helpful getting us around town. The rooms were Very clean and comfortable. It would have been even better if there was an airport shuttle and transportation (besides cabs) to more distant attractions.

convienient to downtown
Hotel is very conveinient to walk to downtown charlotte and to the interstate for going somewhere else my car. The rooms are nice and the staff is friendly. Thee only negative was the parking fee (8 $ per day) and parking for check-in is confusing.

Great hotel with great staff.
We went to a NFL game. Site seeing. This was the first hotel that we selected, not knowing which one was the best. We selected the best one. It was so clean. The staff was great and friendly. Beautiful view, couldn't ask for anything else. The beds are just wonderful. We made the right choice. This is our second trip and this is the only hotel that we will stay with. Close to the entertainment and night life. This is #1 hotel. Thank you.

Excellent Service
The concierge desk staff (young redhead female) was the most friendly and helpful I have ever encountered. The hotel was very clean, and well located. The mattress was the best mattress I have slept on in quite some time. Excellent hotel.

Great experience, great staff!
I went on a tour of Uptown Charlotte that the hotel offered during downtime, and also went to visit a couple of popular tourist sites and malls in Charlotte. Needless to say, the staff was amazing and the residents of the city are the nicest I've encountered in a while!
