Affordable in Uptown with free breakfast, shuttle and Wi-Fi
Simple rooms at a great price include free secure parking, wireless Internet, a pool, fitness center and deluxe breakfast at the Hampton Inn Charlotte – Uptown. Leave the car in the garage and venture out to restaurants, museums, sporting events and shopping. Start across the street at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Overnight stay
This hotel is very convenient to uptown Charlotte. The hotel is clean, and the staff helpful. I was disappointed that they started charging for overnight parking. The have remodeled the lobby area/breakfast area and it is warm and inviting. I like Hampton Inn because I can run downstairs for a decent breakfast at no additional cost and I find that very convenient. I really liked that the windows open. The breeze was very nice. The indoor pool is a nice diversion for families.

Weekend Getaway
The entire staff was wonderful. The best value was the hotel shuttle. The drivers were entertaining and quick to welcome us each time we called for a ride. The window opened a bit in our room so we always had fresh air. I'd recommend this location to any traveler looking for a downtown Charlotte stay.

Downtown Charlotte is congested at night. Walk or take a shuttle to avoid parking a vehicle or dealing with traffic.

Couldn't ask for better accomodations.
I have never slept so good away from home. The bed and pillows were awesome. Breakfast was delicous, (belgum waffles, eggs, bacon, hash browns, fruit, cereals, danishs, bagels.....most anything you would want). Staff was very friendly. The thing I like most of all was the shuttle service. I didn't have to move my car the entire time I was there. We were shuttled to and from the conference....AND.... we were allowed to leave our car in their parking lot (which is free btw) and catch their shuttle even after we checked out of the hotel. Check out time was 11 but conference wasn't over until 5pm. I would most definitely recommend Hampton Inn Uptown Charlotte to my friends.

Close to Stadium and Nascar Hall of Fame.
Within walking distance of lots of Charlotte attractions. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. No complaints!!

Fantastic business experience
We were in town for a class at the Federal Reserve Building. We arrived the night before. We were able to use a free shuttle service to take us to dinner and then pick us up & take us back. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff very polite and pleasant. Breakfast was great - big selection. Although we had checked out, we were still able to uses free shuttle service to get back and forth from our class & leave our vehicle in the free parking garage until we headed home. Would definitely recommend this hotel to someone visiting Charlotte. Right off highway - very convenient!

Short Trip Made Easy
Had a wonderful time in our overnight visit to Charlotte. The Desk person on duty when we arrived was extremely patient, hospitable, and helpful! He recommed ideas for dinner, was very friendly, and made me feel completely at ease. It was like staying with family!

The only downer was, we didn't know there would be a St. Patrick's Day celebration Bar Crawl going on! Would have been nice to know, the crowds were unbelievable and quite drunk way to early!!
