Great place to stay!

This is a lovely hotel. When checking in I received a warm cookie. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The only thing I didn't much care for was the daily parking rate, the daily internet fee, and the toilet is underneath the counter in the bathroom. It was an odd bathroom layout. But, I would stay there again! The food in the restaurant was yummy too!

Excellent location, rooms, amentinites

The location was amazing. Walkable to most everything you could want. Also the amenities and staff could not have been better. The only downside was the unexpected fee for parking. I feel parking should not be an "extra" when staying at a hotel, but all in all everything was great.

Great Location

Great location downtown. Clean, comfortable, great pool and work-out center and great staff. Parking is an extra $14.00 for 24 hours. Internet is $10.00 for 24 hours or free if you are a Hilton member and have your account name and number. Was not able to use the room internet to become a Hilton member so we did not have internet.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Not easy to find parking without paying for a parking garage in the area, but there are restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.

Great Hotel!

The hotel was beautifully maintained and very clean. The walls are very very thin, so be prepared to hear everyone outside the hotel and outside your room. Parking is an additional $14. Very convenient to the outskirts of uptown Charlotte.

Wonderful place to stay

Stayed overnight for a concert in June 2014. The only - ONLY - complaint I have is the chair (the one in front of the desk) wasn't adjustable -- so when I sat at the desk to do my hair, I couldn't see myself in the mirror. Other than that, the place was fantastic. You get cookies when you check in -- what's not to love?! The staff was very friendly and the room was super nice -- I was shocked that I hadn't paid much more! Will definitely stay again if I'm ever in Charlotte overnight.

Very nice hotel and location. Pool and Gym and walkable to restaraunts/bars. My only complaint was the $14/night parking fee that was added on.

Best Deal at the Edge of Uptown

Very nice and clean hotel on the edge of Uptown, which is where the action is. I ate at Brixx, where they have accommodations for vegan pizza. There is also a Mellow Mushroom there. Both of those places had local beer on tap. I was not blown away by any of them but wasn't able to try them all. There were a lot of security guards every where. I am not sure if this was meant to make me feel safe. But I have to assume if you wander the wrong way you may be in for some trouble. They charged me $14 to park there. Street parking was free on weekends and evenings. With all the security guards around, I should have just parked there.
