Visiting our daughter
We did not spend much time at the hotel, but when we did the room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet. My husband used the gym facility and liled it. the staff brought bananas and cold lemon water for the guests. We had a good buffet breakfast there on Sunday morning. We will probably stay there again the next time we visit our daughter.

Comfortable
We only stayed one night, but it was just what we needed in a home away from home. The room was cozy and the temperature was perfect. Close to downtown.

Great stop for rest
I was tired from travel and needed a place to rest for the night. The only negative comment I can make about my stay was the room temperature. Outside the temp was over 100 degrees. The room was set at 60. At first it was nice to get out of the heat and the cool air felt great, but as frost developed on my extremities I scrambled to raise the room temp. I sat shivering in the cold waiting for the frigid air to stop blasting. Normally I love a functioning AC, but this was ridiculous. The family of penguins in the tub seemed to enjoy it.

What a nice hotel, nice setting with many things within an easy walk. Staff was warm & friendly and a nice way to start any day. My room was really nice and the bed was beautiful, inviting & very comfortable. Always liked Marriotts and this is one of the best I've stayed in.

What Was Missing
Great Hotel but the absence of continental breakfast was an annoyance. What hotel doesn't do that! Also $12.95 per day for internet seemed extreme. We just hooked our computer up at my son-in-law's home, but again an unnecessary annoyance. In our travels these two things have become standard - kind of like hair dryers and shampoo. One comes to expect them

Good hotel
Everything you expect from a Marriott, the only drawback is that the restaurant was remodeled and was a bit complicated breakfast. The excellent staff and good service, some little problems with Internet connectivity.

Great Experience
My first experience at a Boutique Hotel was wonderful. I needed a place to stay while visiting family for a mini reunion and this Marriott was perfect. Close to my location, close to dining and shopping in a premier section of Charlotte, and beautiful. A definite do-over!!

unfortunate
it was a get away-I felt the management seemed a little off for a marriott the people were nice and lacked on professionalism the rooms bathroom had an odor-the coffee not good-the service in restaurant poor-We did enjoy the salt water pool
