everything was good except for the fact we specifically asked not to wake us no room service ... not only did they bang on our door they called us and woke us up again and asked did we want room service .. alot of slamming of doors all day and night .. noticed alot people complaining because RESERVATIONS could not be found :-(

Run Downs
This Baymont Inn was very run down. That was apparent from the moment we walked in the door. Since we prepaid, we felt we had to stay. Our room lacked towels, a toilet paper dispenser, and coffee supplies. Light came in around all four sides of the door at night. Breakfast was prepackaged carbs. The bed was clean. Will not stay there again. Will reconsider future stays at this chain. They may be losing their brand.

Downtown Charlotte is close to the airport and has lots of high quality hotels, and an entertainment center. We will consider staying there next time.

My plane got in late and I had a 2 hour drive home. Can't drive in the dark so suddenly had to get a hotel room and was short on funds. Found this little gem for a remarkable price. The free shhuttle picked me up after hours on a plane with two screaming children next to me and the room /personnel proved to be just what I needed to relax.

Hotel is fine, food is fine. Make sure you stay on top of airport shuttle- tried to change times without notifying guests. Could have missed my flight if I hadn't been paying attention.

Dirty
rooms smelled, said it was newly renovated but seemed 20 yrs w/o updates. Had to move rooms bC phone cord had been pulled out. 2nd room the drain in shower did not drain ... ahhhh

easy access to airport
The staff was very friendly. They took us to and picked us up from the airport and allowed us to leave our car there at the hotel during the trip for no charge. We only stayed the nights before and after our flights so we were not there long.

Transition time between business travel
The one thing that made me very uneasy was that I paid $117.08 for the room online but when I checked out they had me sign a receipt for $89. They told me it was a "procedure." I had no incedentals. I don't want to get charged twice for the same 2 nights.

Don't bother
Would not recommend this motel. Staff was nice, but motel is running down, and AC was totlally inadequate because they don't AC the halls. Not convenient to any restuarants.

Unhappy
They didn't seem to care that we were there. Front desk seemed bother that we need directions. The room had such a funky smell that we ended up spending the night with our friends at the Hoilday Inn. When I went back in the morning to get the bags the maid screamed at me down the hall wanting to know what room I was in and if I was coming back. RUDE!!!!!!! Would NEVER stay there again.
