Arlington Suites

The staff was welcoming and helpful. The rooom was exactly as advertised. I was very happy with my stay. The only difficulty was that the hotel did not get the confirmation. They were happy to honor the reservation though. For a night or a week, this seems to be a great place to stay.

DO. NOT. STAY. HERE. PERIOD. It was aweful. Stains everywhere... toilet that barely flushed, handles falling off cabinets. HORRIBLE.

I paid $29.99. The sheets are clean; bed is firm; TV is working. Parking lot well ligtened. WiFi is slow but working.

I read some of the other reviews on line and I really didn't know what people were complaining about. I stayed at Arlington for about two weeks, the staff was really friendly up at the office, the room I got was nice and it was one of their newly renovated making it one of the best rooms they had. My only real complaint would be that the housekeepers would have cleaned the room when they were supposed too. However, over all I enjoyed my stay, I loved that hotel was close to up town and the airport.

I had specifically asked for a non-smoking room and was told that was what it was. However the room smelled as if it had been a smoking room. When I returned home my clothes and my bag all smelled like the room. It was definitely cheap however I will not stay again.

The experience here was not good. I had to go to the office 3 times because key to enter 1st room she gave did not work. Guest Svc. lady knew I was angry because I asked for a refund. She, then, offered an upgrade. This was after 1 hour trying to get me in the room I paid for. I got there before 8 PM and finally got in a room by 9:30PM! The young lady apologized about 10 times. I actually got tired of hearing it. It still did not solve how the stairwells looked and smelled of urine. After a 7 hour ride I needed a place to sleep and take a shower. The upgrade in the room helped a little bit, butt had a television that did not work. She handed me a paper to program it. It, still, did not work. Finally, at 10:30 pm I called office, again to let her know TV was not working. The young lady sent a maintenance man up, who found that the cable line was disconnected. He fixed it! The upgrade had a chair with holes in the arms! The sheets were wrinkled, but clean; bathroom and sinks were clean too. The Internet connection worked. The hairdryer did not work! Thank God, for some things that worked.

First of all this is not a hotel! It is an extended stay place and should be reserved for such. There is no late check in as the office staff leave at like 8 or 9 pm. After that there is only a superintendant on call. My toilet did not work properly. Bad neighborhood and sketchy residents. Not a good place to hang out after dark. I got sick from the McDonalds next door. Avoid this place if possible.
