Dump in Big Sky
Well this Hotel appears to be OK, but when closely examined it is really a LOW end hotel for too much money! It was clean, but the bed linens were pilled up and scratchy on the skin, the towels were cheap, small and not soft at all...felt like an exfoliation against the skin after the shower! Yuck! They offer breakfast for FREE but it was disgusting and they ran out of food well before the end of breakfast, the coffee is cheap and worse than any gas station coffee. The staff was on edge and not helpful or accommodating! What a sad way to spend my hard earned money. Big Sky is a beautiful place and deserves a much better hotel than The Lodge @ Big Sky. DONT stay here it is the pits!!

Fantastic Getaway
Great location. Large, clean & comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. The base camp in the village has activities for mountain biking, tram ride to the top of the mountain, zip line..etc. One hour drive to west entrance of Yellowstone. Fly fishing close by. We enjoyed our stay in The Lodge. Fabulous views of the mountains all around Overall Excellent Value and hence the four star.

Hotel is OK, but not great....
The hotel is OK, but don't expect too much. The beds are uncomfortable, the bathroom was dimly lit, and the furniture was really dated. The continental breakfast was OK, but don't expect much in the way of actual protein. The best thing about this hotel is it's location (Big Sky) and the main lounging area. Beyond that, I've had far better stays at less expensive hotels.

All hotels in Bozeman were booked. We drove to the Lodge at dusk. Beautiful, incredible drive along Gallatin River. The last 4-5 miles are amazing. Large, well-decorated room. Western resort feel to the whole place. Easy drive back to town the next morning.

Very Good experience. The power went off a few times but not the hotels fault. There were other issues on the mountain. The view from our window was wonderful. Reserve the mountain view we loved it. We got up in the middle of the night to get pictures of the moon over the mountain and the stars which seem to be large holes in the sky.
