Tremont Suites Hotel

They have renovation going on right now, but the room is large and spacious. It's conveniently located in downtown Baltimore. Staff is friendly and courteous. I'd highly recommend it.

staff were very friendly and polite but also inept. i called the day before i arrived to reserve a roll-away cot and inform them i would arrive late but the hotel had no record of my o_r_b_i_t_z reservation. they called me back 20 min later and said they had it straightened out, that the cot and late arrival were no problem. however, when i showed up i was informed they had sold my room. luckily, the guy managed to find me a room. unluckily, the toilet didn't work and it took maintenance over 3 hours to come fix it. the bath tub didn't drain either. the hotel driver who took me back to the airport at the end of my trip drove like a madman and didn't respond when i spoke to him. overall, i was very disappointed with this hotel.

Four of us came down from Canada to attend a festival in Baltimore. Since we drove, I was really looking forward to getting to our room and have a relaxing, warm shower. So I was quite disappointed to find out that we couldn't even get any hot water. We also noticed a few other odd things about the room. No safe was in the room (as advertised); the fridge wasn't working; no coffee maker (as advertised), even though we had supplies of coffee to make. So, we called down, and eventually they sent someone up.... We battled the hot water issue for a couple days - it wasn't until the third day that I could take a nice, warm shower. On the final evening, we came back to our room and noticed that the door was not fully closed. We wondered if we had left it open, but noticed that the beds were made, leading us to the conclusion that it must have been housekeeping. Thankfully, all of our stuff (multiple laptops) remained untouched. When checking out, the manager was sincerely apologetic and gave us a bit of a discount on the room. They were under construction and are converting to another hotel chain - hopefully along with that, they can improve on some of the issues that we had. Positives: free wi-fi; a deli right in the hotel; great location in downtown, blocks from the festival.

Couldn't find where to checkin as they are doing remodeling. But we stayed on ghe 34th fl. We had a beautiful view of the city. Parking was free on the weekend and we were 5 mins from inner harbor. The room was a little tight but other than that great for an overnight stay.

I booked this room last minute actually for my friends birthday. Great room. Great view. Everything was perfect. He and I both were exextremely satisfied. The beds are very comfortable. The view from the hotel was amazing! The only thing that was a bit confusing was entering the hotel from the garage. Other than that, our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back!

this hotel is well-located downtown and the staff is very friendly. the bathroom in my room hadn't been cleaned, but they switched it promptly and provided a lunch voucher for the trouble. also, this hotel is under renovation, so best to ask if your room is one of those recently updated, or if it's still trapped in the 1980's.

Hard to submit a "real" review as this hotel is current undergoing a major renovation, and will become an Embassy Suites. (My recommendation is based on the completion of the construction.) Since they are doing one floor at a time, there was constant noise and banging during the day. Luckily we were out. The lobby is closed off and unreachable now. The price was right -- major discounts because of all the renovation, so if you will be away during much of the day and don't mind the noise in the a.m. (around 9, I think), this is an adequate place to stay. However, the rooms are nice and spacious, and was clean--if you discount the permanent stains on carpet and furniture - but that will all be a part of the past. Staff is very nice and friendly and location is good. The attached convenience store is a place to grab coffee and breakfast, with places to sit, but shelves are partially empty and is lacking in food choices.

The hotel is under renovation at the moment. Our room was clean and very big, but the phone and the hair dryer were not working. The staff was very kind and helped us a lot. It has a good location.

I went to Baltimore for a conference. Hotel was located at a comfortable distance, and it was very reasonably priced. Overall good experience with the Hotel staff, but it is undergoing a renovation at present, so the gym o 4th floor was closed, as well as the restaurant, which was inconvenient.
