High-rise comfort in happening downtown ‘hood -- outdoor pool included
The Sheraton Baltimore City Center Hotel is a 707-room high-rise that takes pride in its convenient location: The 1st Mariner Arena sits across the street and Inner Harbor's attractions are just blocks away. But there is also something to be said for the interior. The sizable rooms and suites emanate an urban vibe, the event space is seemingly unlimited and the ground level boasts Shula's 2, a casual bar with a knack for savory American cuisine. One more perk: An outdoor rooftop pool -- seasonal, of course.Highlights
- Convenient downtown location, three blocks from Inner Harbor and Baltimore Convention Center
- Seasonal outdoor swimming pool
- Shula's 2, a casual on-site bar and restaurant that serves contemporary American cuisine
Location
The Sheraton Baltimore City Center Hotel's downtown location works well for business and leisure travel. The Baltimore Convention Center is a short distance away, as are a number of corporate offices. The area also is rife with shops, restaurants, live entertainment and other attractions.

The food here comes free (continental breakfast in the morning, hors d'oeuvres in the afternoon) and beverages also are offered.
Features
High-speed Internet is available in every room (fees apply).
Guests hit up the seasonal outdoor pool or complimentary fitness center with cardio machines.

Memorial Day Weekend 2013
I have stayed at this property in the past while attending a yearly fire department expo but had since changed to another hotel on Eutaw Street. A few weeks ago I received a special email for a corner room and decided to give the Sheraton another try. The staff is extremly nice, the room was clean, yes you hear sirens 24/7 but thats in any big city, so stop with all the review complaints, plus being in the fire department, it was music to my ears lol. I did not use the pool or the gym this time, but they were both open and readily available. The bar prices were decent and a good place to watch the NBA playoff games with their numerous flat screens. For the price and the location I would definitely stay here again.

Make sure you goto Lexington Market for lunch. The food is as diverse as the people. I have gone there for years and never had a bad meal or any "issues" that some reviewers speak about. It is 2013, not everyone looks the same anymore in America, so go eat and enjoy yourself.

Sheraton Baltimore
The front desk staff were excellent - bright, articulate, helpful, courteous, extremely good manners. When you check in and you get this impression it creates the tone for the entire stay. All the staff we encountered were great. The location was terrific - we were in town for a performance at the Hippodrome which was only 2 blocks away. We will definitely stay at this Sheraton again!

Harbor Place & the hotel were very busy but we got our early checkin. The room was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. It wasn't cheap - but worth what we paid. I'd stay there again. Their health club & pool is amazing.
